Hystar® Aero Glides | 40 Dot Mouse Skates for Glass Mousepad | High-Density PTFE | Rounded and Polished for Quiet Use

Been gaming on a glasspad for over 2 years now, first with a SkyPad 3.0 XL and now with a Pulsar Superglide XXL. Always had issues with scratchiness and friction. Tried a few different dots that seemed to work well for a bit but get worn down fast. Saw these were made for glass. Didn't really believe they would be any better than other skates i've used, (Xraypad Obsidian, Jades) but holy, these felt good IMMEDIATELY. You get that floaty feel that most people expect from glasspads, and so far, they haven't worn down yet. I usually play a lot of Apex Legends, which has a lot of tracking and flicking, and so far, these have held up. Definitely worth a shot if you've had issues with friction or glide on your glass pad.

I was shocked how good they are. I own over 5 glass pads and multiple steel pads. Definitely made for hard pads. I have Wallhack dots, TJ Exclusives PlastX Dots, Ghostglides Cyclone, Xray Jade Air, Xray Obsidian, Xray Obsidian Air, Xray Obsidian Air Pro, Unusual Way Silver Fox, Unusual Way Black Fox, BTL Dots, Jade Dots, Corepad Dots, Nitro Factory Dots, Artisan Dots and more. Literally have tried every skate possible in glass. The Hystars are up there with the best I've tried. I wrote them off at first because of the cheap price and the fact I've only seen them on Amazon. It was a huge mistake. They feel great, perfectly balanced for me on a glass pad. They aren't scratchy and have an incredibly smooth glide. There are options that will last you longer but for the price, these can't be beat. Hoping Hystar comes up with a V2 and somehow makes them even better. Waiting for their glass pad in the mail this week. High hopes for the pad after trying these skates.

I don’t own a glass mousepad, but I still noticed a clear improvement after switching from my stock skates to these Hystar Aero Glides. The difference in glide was immediate — these dots feel much more solid and consistent. Movements feel smoother and more controlled overall.That said, I did notice a slight sound when moving the mouse, even on a regular cloth pad. It’s not loud, but it's something to keep in mind. This might be because they’re optimized for glass surfaces, so your experience could vary depending on the mousepad you're using.Another tip: don’t feel like you have to use all 40 dots. Depending on your mouse size, four is usually enough — two on each end worked perfectly for me. Just make sure they’re spaced evenly to avoid any wobble.Overall, this was a good purchase. If you’re looking to upgrade from basic skates, these offer a noticeable improvement — even if you’re not using a glass pad.

Had a regular cloth pad from Corsair. Switched the original skates on my Razer Naga mouse to Corepad Skatez and they were noticeably better on cloth.Then I decided to switch to the Superglide glass mouse pad because the cloth pad was so hard to keep clean. The Corepad Skatez felt scratchy and noisy on the new glass pad. Decided to give these dot pads a try and was not disappointed. My mouse is so quiet now after installing just five of them on my mouse.There's 40 of these so I have can replace these dot pads seven more times. I think my mouse will probably die before I need to buy more dot pads.These are a significant improvement if you're using a glass mouse pad.

These work fantastic on a glass mousepad, I was seriously questioning a glass mousepad until trying these. A lot of the scratching went away. Alcohol wipe is included to make installation easier, it's not necessary but it's an appreciated touch.

There are for a glass pad but still work with a regular mouse pad.

Functionality as skates, they're fine. They stuck fine, had a decent glide. However they are quite noisey. I thought maybe it was just how skates and glass pads where. But then I tried the Ice v2 cause I didn't like this noise and its a night and day difference. Maybe I got a bad batch but yeah, it was a very noisey experience.Edit: After this review, they contacted me and offered a full refund. So I gotta say, their customer support is top notch. I'll probably edit this review one more time in the future, once my new pad "Phantom" ships to see how these perform on a higher end pad. So I'll be keeping these skates on one of my mouses until then.

probably the only skates i get for my mouse. I tried others but this is just too good. i only use 9-10 on my logitech g502 x plus and replace them every 1.5 months or longer depending on usage.
