Very cool and relaxing to watch. Works as a lava lamp should, I generally turn it on when I get up and off when I go to bed. I have it on my desk since I am disabled and spend most of my time at the computer. Love the unique colors. Works as you'd expect, and even while heating up it is fun to watch. My house usually stays in the mid to high 60's which works great. Very easy to setup and usually get the classic look within a couple hours, which as I understand it is normal and expected. Would gladly get again.

Got this for my son and it’s just like the one I had as a kid! Great value for the price and it’s very well made. So much fun to watch and also very relaxing. There are countless varieties to choose from so go release your inner child!

After following the instructions on how to cycle the lamp, and after emailing the manufacturer and following their recommendations, this lamp is still incredibly cloudy. The wax will not clump, its very flaky and the fluid is so cloudy and dark that unless you shine a flashlight or something on it, you don't see the wax.

Quality lava lamp. Love it as an excellent addition to my collection.

I've never owned a lava lamp and this one reminded me of swimming pools at night or snorkeling at night, which is really specific, but if that's a thing you did/do, you'll know how relaxing and almost otherworldly it can be. I've had it for a few months now. I remember to run it so the wax doesn't get clogged. It heats up, but a lava lamp won't work without the heat, so that's a good thing. It's a nice companion for late night work and/or gaming.

Fun lamp but the “China” made units wax (lava) does not flow as well as the lamps from the 60’s and 70’s. Lava lights were originally made in the UK. Not only is the flow poor but the lava developes large “fluid bubbles” while getting up to temperature and it looks more like a bubble machine than a lave lite. Once fully up to temperature then the lava creates too many spheres instead of flowing lava. But the big problem is the bubbles in the lava.The red lava light was refilled with a kit that is available on line. The fluid is clearer, the lava flows better.Get the lite, and enjoy it. But if you’re old enough to remember the originals and how they “flowed” you will want to refill your own.
