I was surprised at how quickly this wax melting pot heated up. I filled the pot with all-natural bees wax pellets, placed the cover on top, turned the control knob to low and walked away for a bit. When I returned most of the wax had melted and ready for me to start mixing my ingredients. The stay warm function is an awesome feature! I love that I can get the wax up to temp, stir in my colors, fragrances, etc., and then be able to take my time getting molds, tins, and jars filled properly. I can even safely walk away to grab more supplies, answer a phone call, and more without worry of my wax mixture going bad from being overheated or becoming a solid.** I included a picture of the mis-spelling on the front of the instructional sheet because I find these hilarious. As a graphic designer, I can't even come close to count how many times I have been handed back a print of something I made with red circles around my spelling mistakes and typos. So, how couldn't I put a red circle around "prohe hole"?! This is a great little wax pot. The capacity is perfect for a variety of uses, and there is good differentiation in the heat levels. The handle is also quite comfortable for holding/pouring, and the spout limits messes. Kind of upset I didn't get one of these sooner actually.

I used this for a quick candle project using soy wax. The wax melted as expected, but I did have to do more fiddling and waiting than I wanted to in order to keep the temperature where I wanted it. It wasn't a hassle, just required more attention than I'd assumed it would.For my simple project I poured into a vessel and not a mold, so the pour spout wasn't an issue. Candle came out nicely! Cleanup was easy and this now has a place on my craft shelf.

This is a electric wax melter that holds up to 60 ounces. It is nonstick lined making it easy to clean. The dial on the front is easy to read and use though not precise. The pour spout makes it so easy to use. Has a glass lid so you can watch your content whether it is wax melting or hot process soap. The device heats up within 1 min. Candle making is so fun and addictive. It's also rewarding to know you've used the best wax and fragrances for your home.
