This monitor is AMAZING. The image quality is fantastic, the sound from the camera is very clear, the sound indicator on the corner is a handy feature. Sometimes when you talk through the monitor it’s not super clear but that could just be how far the monitor was from the camera. Zoom is great, control of the camera is great and not jerky. Battery lasts pretty long. The big reason I’m writing this review is because my husband accidentally left the monitor outside overnight and it rained, thought for sure it would be ruined BUT IT STILL WORKS LIKE THE DAY WE BOUGHT IT.

Overall very impressed with the purchased. I was able to get it on a sale for like 20% off and was worried about the quality. My goal was for a product that was wifi only with ability to move around and good sound/mic quality and it hits all the boxes. Bonus of a large screen. I was concerned about of the F grade on the reviews, but came out moderately impressed given there are more expensive models that I could've gone for. Battery life - seems to be solid although its hard to tell. Our baby is on the way so have not put this to the test yet. My main gripe is that they choose to use a proprietary connector when they could've easily used as USB-C or any common connector so you can just plug it now. Now you have to have it plugged in with their charge. Size - 7" screen. fantastic. My MIL always squints so shes going to appreciate this when shes helping out Screen/Quality/Brightness: quality of images isn't like going to be ultraHD unfortunately. I'd say they are close to 720p at the most, but enough to see all the details of what's going on. Camera: Very responsive with minimal lag. Quiet in movements although can hear it. Sound and mic quality great. Pivoting up and down with nearly 360 turning is fantastic. Overall, for this price point, would give it 5 stars. There's obviously better improvements to be had, but you would be hard pressed to find them with 2 cameras and this large of a screen. Even if you take the price out of it, I'd still be giving this about 4 stars as there are options with better camera quality and probably mic sensitivity.

We bought this monitor as a replacement for a high-end baby monitor we had that stopped connecting to its camera after less than a year of use. We've been using it for a month now, and so far, I have been so pleased with this monitor. The price is very reasonable, and it has a lot of great features--way more useful, practical features than the high end monitors we've used. One of my favorites is that you can set the monitor screen to automatically come on when baby cries. The screen stays on until baby settles or goes back to sleep. Also, if you're utilizing both cameras, you can set it to rotate between cameras or split screen depending on your preference. The 7" screen is large enough to accommodate both cameras in split screen mode really well. The only downside I've noticed so far is that the video has a tendency to lag a bit when both cameras are in use. Overall very happy with this purchase. Wish we would have purchased this one from the start.

Complete and utter garbage, unsafe and useless. Where do I even begin. The screen is 7 inches of blur and black and white flickering, you can barely see anything but forget about details, even at 4 feet from my baby I couldn't tell if her eyes where open or not. Some nights I woke up to my baby screaming that I heard her better more from the other room than from the monitor next to my head in my night stand. Also for some reason the screen will flash full white all of the sudden and then go completely black then a few seconds later recover the image. The quality of the plastics used is so thin and feels extremely cheaply made. I do not understand how youtubers recommend this garbage without openly admitting they are being paid to sponsor this brand. The screen has to be plugged in all night long since it wont last even 4 hours turned on. Also, the feed takes a second or 2 to sync up, and the frames per second are terrible. You will see you baby teleporting from spot to spot if they move in their crib. Do not waste you money on this.

Decent enough monitor. I'm using it to keep tabs on my special needs adult son. For that reason, I really don't utilize many features except for a clear picture. I don't generally unplug the monitor, so I can't attest to the battery life, but I will say that I typically keep the sound muted, and it keeps randomly turning itself back on. I'm not sure if it's rebooting, and it resets the sound (and the brightness of the screen--which I keep at the lowest, as it's pretty bright and it's on my nightstand--it resets it to the brightest!) or what; but I don't get why it wouldn't retain the last known setting. Or why it's constantly resetting. The night vision is very clear. I can see every detail in his room. I love the size of the screen. Like many other monitors offering a temperature feature, not accurate. I have a thermometer a few inches from the camera that shows this reads high by several degrees. Overall, I think it still needs some improvements.

10/10 - we’ve had it for about a year now and the only real complaint is the obnoxious beeping noise when the battery is dying. The battery does last a good 12 hours though. There are tons of after market accessories for mounting - we used the one that wraps around the crib until our toddler realized she could mess with it, now we use the wall mounted one and it’s a game changer. The temperature reading always seems to be about 5 degrees higher than reality, but it’s good for a ballpark temp. We love it so much that we play on buying the dual camera version because we are expecting a second baby - really wish the unit was expandable so we could just buy a second camera. Video quality is very good, only degradation noticed is when you zoom in all the way on night vision but even then it’s good enough. The night light isn’t very bright, but that doesn’t matter for us. It does have sounds which are nice to have in a pinch though we use a separate sound machine usually. Sound level is perfect, loud enough to wake us up without disturbing the whole house. There is about a 1 second delay on the video and sound from camera to monitor. When you speak through the monitor to the camera it is slightly robotic and startled my daughter until she was about 15 months old.

We bought this to "upgrade" from a cheaper HelloBaby monitor, and it's been nothing but disappointment. Pros: -It works- you can see and hear the baby. -It looks and feels fancy Cons: -The screen gets blurry any time the baby moves (like watching a streaming service on your phone with bad wifi) -The sound is so quiet, it doesn't wake us up until the baby is full blown screaming (even at max volume) -The stand for the monitor screen is way too small and poorly placed, any wiggle of the table it's sitting on or placing it down without being extremely careful and it falls over. Every time. -Every time you plug the screen in to charge, it turns on. Why?? I plug it in when the baby's awake so it's charged for the next nap. This was an intentional design Vtech made that you can't turn off, and I can't comprehend it. Every single time you plug it in to charge, you have to wait for it to boot up (at least 30 seconds) then turn it back off. If this was the only monitor we'd ever had, or if we got it as a gift, it'd be fine and we'd live with it. But for half the price, there are others that are way more streamlined and more thoughtfully designed.

This baby monitor exceeded my expectations. The video quality is very clear, and the screen size makes it easy to monitor both cameras at the same time. I really like the sound quality and how simple the setup process was. The connection stays stable, and the night vision works very well during nighttime. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can easily check on my children from anywhere in the house. Overall, it’s reliable, user friendly, and a great investment for parents.

Deze babycamera werd mij aangeraden door vrienden. Het is echt een game-changer voor ouders die hun kleintje veilig en rustig willen laten slapen, terwijl ze tegelijkertijd een oogje in het zeil houden. De installatie was super eenvoudig. Wat ik vooral waardeer is de heldere beeldkwaliteit, zelfs in het donker. Zo kan ik de baby goed in de gaten houden, zelfs als het licht uit is. Het geluid is ook van goede kwaliteit, wat voor veel gemoedsrust zorgt. Een ander pluspunt is de tweerichtingscommunicatie. Het is zo fijn om tegen mijn baby te praten of zelfs een slaapliedje te zingen, zonder dat ik de kamer hoef in te gaan. Daarnaast is de camera stevig en voelt hij betrouwbaar aan, wat belangrijk is als het gaat om de veiligheid van je kind. Het is een uitstekende investering en ik zou het absoluut aanraden aan andere ouders! Ik ben ontzettend tevreden met de aankoop!
