Does what it says from a brand you can trust

I don't know whether Colgate has changed this product or if the seller is unknowingly selling a fake but this is not Colgate pro gum health floss as I know it, which was shaped to be smooth, easy to use and effective, whereas this is gritty, stringy and rough. Very uncomfortable, shreds and get stuck, nothing like the formally excellent floss. Won't be buying this totally inferior and substandard product again.

It's a ok product but found it shredded slightly getting stuck between teeth

Sadly I have waited too long to return this appalling product. Having happily ordered this for many years, I ordered four of them, unaware that Colgate had completely changed it, from a thick waxed floss to a hard hairy plastic floss that doesn't fit properly between the teeth, shreds and sticks under the gum line. It is awful, awful stuff, and stupidly I carried on trying to use it. Now I have had to pay my dentist to remove it, after it was stuck under my crowns for a week or two. I can't believe Colgate ruined a very decent product. Why would they do such a thing? I'm so angry I'd sue them if I weren't too busy to bother.

Bought this floss to use as a kitchen helper for cutting soft items like cakes and cheeses. It's great for that and affordable.

The package is not exactly the same as the picture and the quality isn’t as good as previous purchase. It’s not smooth enough and also not shred resistant, so easily end up stuck with partly left in between teeth.

This appears to be the old good floss Colgate makes but...it's not. The seller is probably unaware the new floss is completely inferior and with a slightly different graphics design. It's advertised as the old one, as in photo on the left, but it's the completely new one that was sent to me. It's, as other reviews have stated, totally awful. The old floss was soft texture and went in-between your teeth smoothly. This new stock is like the wire Robert Shaw used to try and slay Sean Connery in James bond, it's rough and sad. After so many negative reviews from dissatisfied customers I wonder will Colgate rectify the fault? Please do!
