Got this to help with clearing the phlegm from a cough. I think it's working since the vibration seems to be shaking up my lung area. I often do spit out some loose phlegm after a few blows. It does take some energy though and not like blowing a whistle. There's quite a bit of resistance. Luckily it's adjustable so I was able to set it to a level I can tolerate. I also heard it can be used as an excercise device and strength your lungs, but I primarily use this for clearing up my lung. Overall a useful little device.
