Lots of squeakers
Lots of squeakers! Somewhat durable. My dogs had a hole in the head after a few minutes, but it’s still in use after a sewing fix.

Chihuahua loves it
I got the XL 16 squeaker gator for my chihuahua and she absolutely loves it. When I put it away at bed time she tried everything she could to get it back, so of course I had to give it to her

Puppy loves it, but its life span is looking pretty short.
Even though it's pretty torn up already (2 weeks, 3 weeks?), puppy loves this toy and is still playing with it, since he has only pulled out about half of the squeakers. If you don't mind the torn up version laying around the house, it is still making a good tuggy toy for the puppy and his older sibling to play with together.

Dog absolutely loved it!
I had set a noisy paper bag with the alligator inside my tote bag on the floor. Dog got the alligator about 1/2 out - noiselessly! - before she saw me watching her. Then she snatched it out, took a victory lap of the room, and settled in to remove the squeakers. I'm not sure how long she actually spent destroying it, because she belongs to a friend. But currently the only part left is some of the mesh from the alligator's body & legs - and it's got a few bite marks out of it.The gator didn't look like a toy destined to last a long time. But it sure gave the dog some great challenges and a lot of fun. I count that as a total success!I may buy her another down the road, but there are so many cute dog toys .... !

Not durable for giant breeds
My Dane loved this toy... So much that she tore it up within a few days. She tore through the stitching and killed the squeakers. I was disappointed. Another toy in the trash.

Long lasting - with a Pittie!!!
I have a pittie and if you have one you know what I mean by, this toy lasted. I swear I am spending a small fortune on toys! Any toy that last more than a day is cool, but this one has lasted weeks! Amazing 🤩

New favourite toy for both of my dogs
I've had really good result with Kyjen in the past so decided to buy a new variety for my dog's recent birthday. I really liked the look of this alligator because of the length, which opens up so many different types of play opportunities. We definitely haven't been disappointed, this guy was a hit from the moment we took him out of the package.Word of warning, this toy is LONG. Both of my small breed dogs can easily play with it, getting their teeth stuck in and enjoying a game of tug or just having fun wrestling with part of the toy without even intruding on the other dog. The length makes it very easy to share. It is plushy, but we haven't had a lot of shedding. I do 'puppy proof' all toys when I buy them in though and this toy in particular has a lot of small nibbly bits that I recommend removing so that your dog doesn't swallow. I prefer not to have much of anything hanging off a toy that is much larger than a grain of rice just in case my dogs eat a bit. I have a go with the scissors and get off anything that looks easy to chew off before it becomes a problem. My dogs are both destructive, they love nothing more than finding the source of the squeak and attacking until it no longer makes noise. Having the squeakers all the way down the length of the toy seems to work a treat- there are so many it seems an insurmountable task to 'kill' them all. So far, they haven't bothered which is almost a miracle. I'm incredibly impressed with the durability of this toy, I can leave them with it or grab a piece myself and join in the play. Only one hole after over a month and it was easy enough to address- I took out all the stuffing in the area and let them get on with it. They barely noticed. Definitely a favourite toy for both my pets.

Outward Hound Squeaker Matz Plush Gator Dog Toy, XL
A good soft chew toy for dogs that is excellent value for money. Whilst not indestructible, the toy has lasted well and after more than a month of use, it has only sustained minor damage. With a dog that is not destructive, I think this toy should be good for 4 -6 months (that's if you can stand 4-6 months of squeaking) as it has a large number of squeakers inside that seem to be fairly robust.

A favourite
My greyhound absolutely adores this croc. it's been tossed, shaken, jumped of and every one of the 16 squeakers has been squeaked. She has a soft mouth and never tears toys apart so don't know how it would fare with a 'roughen', but it seems quite robust.

headless after 4 months, but still going stong !
fab toy for our dog. After 4 months it is now headless and in 2 pieces but the majority of the squeakers are still in tact and in place.Sometimes our dog chews it, and tries to disable one of the squeakers, (but as there are so many this is tricky, as different squeakers become the subject of his attention, rather than just one.!) , and sometimes he just walks around with one of the two pieces, so he does like it .I did use strong silk thread and sewed along the lengths of the gator, ( along each side and down the middle) , and also around each of the squeakers, which took some time!! --- however, reinforcing the toy in way has made it last far longer and so was time well spent.

Sturdy body part - shame about the head
The dogs loved this & the body with it's 32 squeakers is very sturdy and we'll sewn. The head however is useless. My newfoundland split open the mouth at the seam in 5 minutes. I removed some stuffing so it wouldn't push at the seams so much but 2 mins later there was a hole on the other side of the mouth and a tear in the fabric.Such a shame as it guys loved it, they played tug of war with the body & it didn't get damaged in any way which is impressive for over 50 kilos pulling in different directions. They just need to work on the head part.
