Easy to assemble. It fits well on the top shelf of my refrigerator. I no longer need to go hunting all over each shelf to find my favorite soft drink or beer. This is a great item, wish I'd bought it months sooner. Makes it easy to keep my cooler stocked and organized. There is a lock mechanism, if you push the row all the way back it will release the spring feed or lock it. If the cans aren't automatically fronting, push them all the way back and it should release the lock.
