It works
Its useful in getting the pills down. I do find that even though they're quite soft, I do remove part of it to make it smaller which makes it easier to get down.

Greenie's Pill Pouches are Great
I used these on a regular basis with my 3 furbabies. It is hard to give an animal a pill or supplement but with these, its so easy! Just pop in whatever you're not wanting them to see or smell, and PLOP they much it right up. Recommended fully :)

Cats and dogs love 'em
These are so delicious that my dogs want them for a treat. My cats and dogs know from the smell when I open the bag and come running when I say "come get your medicine". Only one dog is being medicated for allergies currently, but everyone wants a pill pocket, so they have become a treat. Compliance is so important. No more medication anxiety. They are perfectly sized and hold whatever pill I need to put inside.

Dog and cat love this
Love this product. I use it for my dogs pills. They’re smaller and easier to work with and are more cost-effective. My dog and my cat love it.

Great product for my cat!!! I wrote some tips in my comment!!
I’m not going to lie, I love this product! I have two cats, one of them needed anxiety/calming medication because we had just moved and she started getting aggressive towards our other cat even though they’ve known eachother their whole life and had been fine before. I did not want to stick my hands in my cats mouth and I had trouble using the squeezable treats and crushing the pills in them because eventually she stopped eating them. This product made my life so much easier. I recommend rolling it into a ball, but the first time you give it to your cat make sure you give it to them without the medication-so they have an idea of what it taste like. I also recommend just dropping it in their food bowl when it’s around eating time. This way the pill is masked not only by the medication but the smells of their food around it. I swear it’s the first thing my cat eats over their food everytime because of the flavoring.

Pill Pockets
These pill pockets are great for cats. My cat refused to take her meds and when we used these bad boys, we had success the first try. The ends mold down and secluded the pill so they don’t fall out.

A literal lifesaver
My cat was given 6-12 months to live, best guess, by my Veterinarian together with an ultrasound specialist. Cat is now going on 2 years since initial diagnosis - with well sufficient joie de vivre for an elderly cat, thanks in part I'm sure to being a lucky outlier. But also due to the fact that he gets his heart and other meds every day, without fail, without fighting, without chucking it back up. I owe that accomplishment to this product. (And to the fact that he will scarf it right down - you can see from the reviews that some cats are picky and/or figure out the trick. Luck, again. Even on a day when he's being fussy about his required special diet, he'll gobble up the pocket.)And yes, I guess I could figure out how to firm up a play-dough consistency treat of my own in the age of 1 million internet DIY sites, but I already do a number of tedious things for Cat's well being and it's nice not to have to take on one more. Why four stars? (More like 4 1/2, but I don't easily give 5 stars.) Mostly because the packaging is faulty. The zip-lock seal *will* fail, either by no longer zipping or pulling away from the bag entirely, well before I've taken out the last pocket. Which would dry them out, except for the fact that I use one of those stick bag sealers (search "Stick bag sealer" on Amazon) as a failsafe. At the price, the bag should be well up to the task of being sealed and unsealed 85 times. That's what I think. But I'm so glad this product exists.
