URAO Tablet,10.1" Android 15 Tablet with Octa-core Processor 24GB RAM 128GB ROM HD IPS Touchscreen 8H Battery, Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.0, Dual Camera, Android Tablets

After researching Black Friday deals on tablets, I came across this URAO Android tablet. It got my attention because it seemed to fit the bill for the type of tablet I was looking for. I needed a tablet that wasn’t too big, or too small. This one was just the right size, and the specks on it looked good as well. I needed the tablet for my Dji Neo RC N3 controller. I wanted a screen big enough to be able to see the video on my drone. After receiving the tablet, it fits just nicely. FYI: You will need a tablet extension bracket to be able to install the tablet on the RC N3 controller. As for the tablet itself, it has a screen resolution of 1280x800. It is not the brightest tablet by far, but it is plenty bright for watching YouTube videos, Netflix, or flying my drone. The tablet comes with internal storage of 128 GB and 10GB of RAM. It does have an option to add an external memory card. I haven’t tried any memory cards, but, you can add up to 1T GB of additional storage. The tablet comes with Android 14 AUMI AI OS preinstalled. The OS seems to work pretty fast and is very fluid as far as scrolling through pages goes. The apps load up pretty quickly for me. When for example, I open the YouTube app, it loads almost instantly. As far as the screen size, it is a 10.1-inch screen. And the battery it comes with is a 5000 mAh capacity version. The tablet has a 5MP main camera and an 8MP rear. I haven’t tried the cameras, as my main interest in the tablet is for flying my Dji Neo. I mainly use the video, not the camera. What else can I say about this tablet? Overall, I am happy with my purchase. The price was right, $85, and the quality is pretty good. I almost ended up buying a Samsung tablet for Black Friday, until I came across this little gem. Perfect for my needs, which is mainly watching YouTube, and Netflix, and when weather and time permits, flying my drone. If you are shopping for an affordable table with great build quality, look no further.

Edit: Literally every issue I had with this table was entirely solved by downloading a different launcher from the google play store. Apparently the one this comes with is extremely outdated. I downloaded the Niagara launcher and it took care of the battery draining super fast and it being incredibly slow on startup. Also just to be clear it does NOT have that much actual ram. There's only like 8 actual ram available on it. Original review: I wasn't expecting super high-end performance out of this random weird brand name budget tablet. But I was expecting it to work better than my 12 year old ipod touch. The screen clarity is great, and once it's actually on it works okay. But it takes 10-15 minutes for it to finish booting up when it's off, and then the apps are all unresponsive for a few minutes after it finishes turning on. Once it's actually booted up it's functional pretty well. I almost only use this for the kindle app, and it'll just crash sometimes if the tablet hasn't been on long enough. I would definitely save the $100 and save up longer for a better tablet unless you're having some kind of tablet emergency. It was pretty easy to set up, though.

First and foremost, the battery is absolutely horrible. I think I can understand that setting the tablet up will chew through alot of battery life. I charged it fully before I started this process. The next day I charged it completely again and started some research on music and also editing some videos. (Thats why I bought this tablet as I saw in the description that it could do this) The videos that I edit are about 1 minute long. I saw that the battery was getting low (64%) so I decided to fully charge it again. It took 1 hour 40 minutes to go from 64% to 100%. The tablet sat for a few hours and I picked it up and the battery was already down to 97% I started working again and in the 15 minutes that I was on the tablet, the battery went from 97% to 89%. I read that many people used it to watch movies. I could not get Prime video to load so I watched some music videos and even that ate up alot of battery time. Swiping the lock screen is a little iffy sometimes too. It takes a few swipes in a few directions to get it unlocked. I thought I was actually locked out at one point So, this does not run the apps that I need especially at dual screen. It did not transfer some of the apps from my other device. Sound is horrible. This makes it difficult for me to sync music with my videos. colors are nice on the screen though I wish I did a time lapse of the battery percentage falling as I was using it. Customer service is absolutely horrible.

Update: the company did reach out to me and offer a replacement for the tablet, to which I accepted and received the item rather quick. It does seem as some things have been updated with the tablet. The reaction/loading on the tablet seems a little slow at times, but nothing terrible. It seems to depend on what’s in use. Like the Roblox app loads a little slow. the touch works great, and great quality screen. So far it is working great and holding a good charge. I do appreciate the company reaching out and trying to make it right. They seem to truly care about customer satisfaction and their product. I got this product June 29th, it worked great at first and then today it will not charge, and it won’t turn on. I’ve done all the resets, and nothing. When I put the charger in, the tablet does get warm like it’s trying to charge, but the tablet still won’t turn on. I checked the charger port and it’s fine. I’ve used 3 different chargers and tried to charge in 3 different places in the house, and it didn’t turn on still. It was a great deal and seemed like a great tablet, but unfortunately I did not end up having a great outcome. I’m pretty disappointed. I’d return, but I’m always ify to do so when I can’t get on and factory reset it

I bought this tablet because my Kindle Paperwhite stopped working, and the regular Kindle tablet’s battery life wasn’t long enough for my needs. I read a lot, watch movies, and also use my tablet to upload videos from snorkeling trips in the Caribbean. After doing some research, I decided to try the URAO Android tablet, and I’m glad I did! The performance is solid thanks to the octa-core processor and 10GB of RAM. It handles multitasking well, whether I’m switching between books, streaming Netflix, or browsing the web. The 128GB of storage (expandable to 1TB) is a huge plus—I have plenty of space for e-books, downloaded movies, and my snorkeling videos. The display is bright and clear, making it great for reading and watching movies, and I appreciate the low blue light technology, which reduces eye strain. The battery life is impressive; I can go most of the day without needing a charge, and when I do, the fast-charging USB-C port gets me back up and running quickly. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 make streaming and file transfers fast and reliable. The cameras aren’t the best, but they’re good enough for video calls and quick snapshots. Overall, this is a fantastic tablet for the price. It’s lightweight, versatile, and has the battery life I need for long reading sessions and travel. If you’re looking for an affordable alternative to a Kindle or higher-end Android tablet, this is a great choice!

If you've read the other reviews you already know that this is a great value for a tablet. It's fast, has a great picture, heck it even sounds good for a tablet. Most importantly though is the maker just pushed out an update for it. That matters a lot because a lot of budget tablets don't get continuing support. Just another factor to consider. EDIT TO ADD: Well I may have spoken too soon. The tablet was working perfectly, I thought, after the update until I tried to turn on the Bluetooth. It flat refuses to turn on. The BT keyboard I have for it is useless. If I completely restart the tablet, the BT comes on and stays on for a few seconds then shuts of and refuses to come back on. Honestly, this is more an annoyance for me since I really only use it for bed time reading with very occasional gaming through a cloud PC gaming service. I have other devices for that last activity that will work as well. I've seen a few other reviews that also have issues with the tablet after the recent update and I can not find any kind of support website or phone number. I'm debating if I really want to get a refund, since I always buy the product protection for stuff like this.

I have an older family member that uses a tablet only for games. Mahjong, solitaire, stuff like that. This person is somewhat cognitively impaired and does not know how to set up a tablet or about pop-up ads and accidental clicks on ads or malware. I think their previous tablet was an ancient Google Nexus. It started charging intermittently-- hold the charging cable a certain way and it would charge, let it go and charging stops. I've fixed that sort of failure before by reflowing the solder on the charging port (the stress of plugging/unplugging the charging cable causes the solder joint to break), but this tablet was already 10 years old and had a cracked screen. It was time for a new tablet. This was the least expensive tablet available on Amazon with consistently good reviews. I bought it, downloaded the games that would get played, and put the tablet into airplane mode. I also disabled all notifications. This turned it into a standalone tablet with no network connectivity-- no accidental downloads or clicking on malware. So far, this has been a good choice. They can play the games they like without having to worry about accidentally breaking anything. All the icons they use are right on the home screen. I specifically chose games with simple user interfaces to minimize frustration. The tablet itself is larger than their previous one, and the screen is easier to see. I like that this tablet uses a USB-C charging port. The owner doesn't have to worry about plugging it in backwards (USB-C cables are symmetrical, unlike the micro-USB of their previous tablet). No idea how this tablet will handle email, browsing, or streaming, but in my case those were not a consideration. This is a good tablet to get if you need a very inexpensive standalone that still has reasonable specs and performance for basic tasks.

This is the third time I’m buying this tablet. The first two I’ve been using for about a year now. I use these tablets for my four Reolink home security cameras around the front of my home. I have one in the hallway and one in the kitchen so far. This one will go next to the back sliding glass door. My Reolink app can display 1,4,9, and 16 on these tablets. The hallway usually has all four on display and the kitchen all four also, but we switch it to just the doorbell cam when busy in the kitchen and the front door is open during good weather since our kitchen is at the back of the house. Since these tablets are for my security cameras they have been on continuously 24/7 for about a year now. I’m not well versed with android, and I do find these tablets turned off every three months or so. Maybe it’s a setting, or just from continuous use. I don’t know. All I do is hit the power button and launch the Reolink app. The tablets are off when this happens and not sleeping. Overall, these tablets are not as powerful as my five year old iPad, but they perform the way I need them to - continuous feeds from my cameras.
