I was a little skeptical at first and wasn’t looking forward to yet another large plastic contraption to store in my tiny kitchen, but it has been fantastic. My boyfriend and I meal prep and have to shred several lbs of meat at once and shredding it by hand has been grueling. I thought this was going to be super messy, but it way less messy than doing it by hand. It doesn’t shred it perfectly but it’s like 80% there so if I only have to do a few remaining bits by hand I will take it. Seriously, yes it’s annoying to have another plastic thing but this has been great at saving my time and my traps from burning while shredding chicken by hand.

I used it twice, once for chicken and once for beef. You definitely want to cut the meat into cubes before placing in the shredder and with a few twists back and forth you're done. I did need to reposition a few pieces because I don't like big chunks in my BBQ. The only problem I found is that I couldn't clean it without a dishwasher. Rinse it, sure. But to get all the meat grease off it definitely needed the dishwasher or someone with a lot more patience than I have

I love this shredder! Easiest thing to use with arthritis to shred chicken! Easy to turn and it works perfectly! Easy to clean, just put it in the dishwasher as it's a great size and design. The durability is great with this too! I used my daughter's for a few months before buying this one for myself and I love it!

The product works as promised and quickly shreds chicken, the only meat that I’ve tried so far. I wish that cleaning instructions had been included. I have put it through the dishwasher once and noticed that some of the gripping strips loosened on one end, so I will wash by hand in the future. The upper part seemed ok.

Love this! I make my homemade food for my dog weekly and use to use a mixer to shrewder chicken- which makes a mess and is hard to clean up. This is a life saver. Shreds in seconds and washed clean quickly. I did 20 pounds of chicken in minutes! Highly recommend for anyone that makes dog food or needs a quick shredder!!

Saw this one the tickie tocks or the book of faces and had to have it. Makes shredding meat such an easy experience. It didn't mention dishwasher use, but it seems to be ok after 10-15 times on the top rack

It does what it is designed to do. It is easy to use. Some larger pieces get stuck on the outer area of the base and you have to move pieces of chicken to the center to get fully shredded. I struggle between could be larger and if bigger it may not be as easy to use.
