Makes superb snow cones. I love that they include the ice mold to make a disk, it's a completely different texture than using ice cubes, though both work and are enjoyable. Lost a star because they also mention you can freeze milk or yogurt for a different type of treat, but the milk can get up by the motor making it difficult to clean. The rest is easy to take apart and wash and dry. Overall it's a hit though, the kids and their friends keep asking for more. (We use water enhancers instead of syrups to make it a treat able to me enjoyed more frequently.)

This is so fun! This shaved ice machine is a necessity for those scorching hot days. You can either use regular ice cubes or the mold for an ice puck. I do find that the ice puck gives softer shaved iced. Most regular mugs or cups fit underneath. The price cannot be beat. I know that cheaper items usually don’t hold up, but this is not the case for this item!
