Rice Flour, 10 LB Bag

My husband has severe food sensitivities and cannot eat any starch except rice. Most stores only carry "gluten-free" flour that adds potato starch, arrow root, guar gum... etc. all of which cause gastric distress. It's VERY hard to buy just plain white rice flour.Compared to many other brands, this flour is ground finer; there is less sandy texture. There is no nutty flavor like some others and the quantity is more realistic for someone that cooks their own foods from scratch. I can't afford to buy ultra fine ground rice flour one pound at a time. It ships in a cardboard box and the flour is neatly sealed in a blue plastic bag.A must for a gluten free-wheat sensitive kitchen.

great price for 10 lbs rice flour and shipping time is perfect! if anybody wonder if this rice flour can be used for mochi or other cooking require these type of rice flour (glutenous rice or sweet rice flour) the answer is no. this is regular rice flour that can be use to bake bread, fry stuff with, and other fun cooking recipes.

I found out about this from Cooks Illustrated; as usual anything they select as "recommended" if far superior to anything else on the market. It is really good!

I got this in a ten-pound bag and all I can say is I am very pleased with my purchase. I live in an area where it is hard to find any kind of flour except wheat. The package arrived in good condition and I will probably buy this again!

I'm GF and even my non-GF family members love what we bake with this. I use it with tapioca and potato starches and xanthan gum to make a flour mix for baking. It's a great value and the taste and texture are great in baked goods.

I have celiac disease and must use alternatives to wheat flour. Over the past ten years I have tried many brands of rice flour. This is by far the best quality gluten free flour I have ever used. I highly recommend this rice flour for all your baking needs.

The flour smells like garlic. It must have been stored or processed near garlic. Definitely won't work for desserts or anything else that doesn't call for garlic. It's not returnable/refundable. Very dissatisfied.
