New BalanceWomen's FuelCell 990 V6 Sneaker

I've owned 3 pairs of the 990v5. They fit well, have great support and the materials are high quality. I ordered the v6 in my regular v5 size, 6.5 Wide. The v6 was almost an inch longer and a full size narrower in the toebox than the v5, and the heel area was loose. My toes were cramped and my heel kept slipping out. The v6 is sized completely different from the v5. And the support through the midfoot is gone. The firm midfoot shank in the 990v5 that kept the foot aligned and limited pronation was removed. The v6 lacks the firmness under the heel and midfoot that felt so supportive in the v5. Also gone is the padding in the tongue. The v6 is a thin scratchy mesh material with no padding. The shoe's inner lining is also a rough cheap feeling mesh that rubs and irritates, especially the back of the ankle, where there is no longer any padding either, which again, the 990v5 did have. New Balance took one of the best shoes they ever made, cheapened it and ruined it. The support is gone. The quality materials are gone. The fit is weird. I sent both pairs I ordered back. Huge disappointment. New Balance is not the company it used to be. Sad.
