Cetraben Emollient Cream 500g - Moisturizing for Dry Skin, Eczema Relief, Whole Body, Adult Use, 17.6 Ounce

i have been using Cetraban for years. I first stumbled upon it because my daughterdaughter has suffered with dermatitis/eczema most of the lotions and creams n the shelves were doing nothing to help her in between flare ups. Actually my hubby also jus suffers from dry skin . Its as if his skin just swallows up the lotions, leaving no trace, that he'd ever used any.I was living in England at the time & my colleague had this on her desk. I had used some day after washing my hands (which were very dry) I noticed that my hands felt truly moisturized and it lasted. We got talking, she suggested I should buy it as she also really loves it. The only hitch was that you could only purchase it over the counter at a pharmacy.Now I live in the US. you can't purchase cetraban so readily here. we have tried all the major creams and lotions on the market for soothing dry skin & dermatitis, we have not found success with any them,, really aside from aquafor. but aquafor can be really thick and/or more vaseline based. Not necessarily ideal to use on the face.Some things that I love about Cetraban is that you can use it as an emolient, so fo my daughter, she can't use just any facial wash and we go through our share of body washes as well for that reason. I like that you can turn it into an emolient then turn around and use it as a moisturizer. It works really well on normal to extremely dry skin. it lasts for quite some time. you don't need to use loads. it has a locking mechanism to stop excess and also so you don't push on the pump by accident. We use this al around on everyone in my family. I introduced to my sister, who loves in France (here I would say they have pretty good creams and lotions in their pharmacy as well) but she also quite liked Cetraban. It's not something you can get there easily either.The consistency of the cream is not so thick you feel like you're wearing a mask.the cons- its hard to come by here in the US.it's on the expensive side (but worth it).The container it comes in is bulky and has a heavy base, so it's not a cream you can travel with on a plane or if weight is a factor in your travel.

I learned of this moisturizer on youtube from Dr. Vanita Rattan a dermatologist specializing in skin issues for people of color. As I am aging I noticed my skin is tight, dry and feels unhealthy. However because I've always had areas of oiliness the last thing I thought to do is put a thick cream on my face until I listened to Dr. Rattan. Not only has this improved my facial skin but I also use in on my forearms that get all the sun from driving and just regular exposure, and I've noticed an improvement in the elasticity of my skin in just a couple of weeks. Plus this is affordable! Following a simple routine morning and evening including this moisturizer in the evening has created a noticeable difference.*NOTE* I have found I cannot use this in the morning before work or before going out because it doesn't really have time to soak in well before I have to leave, so my makeup does not apply as well as it does with my lighter moisturizer. This does not deter me from using it because the benefits it gives me in the evening is excellent. Highly recommend, however as someone in the medical field I agree that everyone should always consult a medical professional before trying anything.

I love this moisturizer. It moisturizes my skin like no other moisturizer. I love that it is unscented as I have pigmented skin. I bought this with the intention of using it on my face as a moisturizer but noticed that after the 3rd day, it was tingling on my face and I felt a slight burning. So instead of using it 2x a day, I only use it once a day. That seemed to help. However on the body, it is great! I love using it after shaving my legs.

This creme was recommended by Dr v, this was my first time purchasing something recommended by Dr v but I don't regret it whatsoever , I absolutely love this creme and the way it feels on my face. It definitely feels hydrating, it doesn't feel heavy like some cremes do. It's there without feeling gross. I am in the peak of winter but since I live in Texas I'm curious what it would feel like in the peak of summer . This is my new favorite cream. I love it.

My son had had eczema since he was like 1 month old, I tried everything everybody told me to use on babies, ended up getting prescription meds from his Dr. But I did not want to use daily medication on is skin, I found this cream recommended by a Dermatologist on Youtube, and I am SOOOOO HAPPY I found it, my son eczema is under control, he gets few spots here and there, It is thick yet dries pretty quick, non-sticky, no fragrance, non-greasy, we are all using it!! I use for my face, hands and feet, main improvement in my heels (no more cracked skin) I am ordering more bottles just to have in store just in case they decide to change the formula. I wish I found this cream before i spent $$$$ on other products for my son eczema.

I get very bad dry skin and eczema on my hands every winter, to the point where my knuckles crack and bleed. This is the only product I have found that heals the cracking without making the eczema worse. It doesn't take much to work. Just a small amount spread evenly on my hands. I see other reviewers complaining about the scent; I find the scent to be fairly neutral, but maybe they are using a larger amount than I am. For the first time in years, my hands feel normal in the winter! Worth every penny!

This the absolute best cream I have ever used. I have struggled with eczema, acute dermatitis, perioral dermatitis and psoriasis my whole life and this cream stops itching, creates a nice barrier, is soothing and gentle enough for my face (which is dry and sensitive.) It actually works better at healing my skin than any prescription ointment or cream I have tried. It even works on my son when he get hives—he loves this stuff! It looks slightly greasy when first put on the face but quickly goes away.
