Broke upon first use
I was concerned about the lightweight, flimsy plastic not at all like the original part and I was correct. As soon as I installed it and took the first stroke it cracked out. As I was in the middle of a project, I had to rig it with electrical tape so I cannot return it. I suggest you choose an actual Eureka replacement part and not this one.

Great but faulty
It was great. My mom has one and hers is still working. But, mine broke after 3 months of use. I might have had a faulty one.

Weak replacement part
I love this vacuum cleaner but this is the weakest part. It bends and comes off at the least downward pressure. Had to replace twice. Too bad.
