OtterBoxiPhone 16 Pro Max Defender Series Case - Black

This case is super protective. Color is nice, as pictured. I bought this particular one as a gift. But I have owned several. I’ve dropped my phone many times and thankfully, had no damage. It fits snuggly on the phone and gives some heft, so it’s not slippery. I’ve also wiped it down with alcohol to sanitize and it did not damage the case. The removal of the plastic case can bow challenging, so it’s not a great solution for someone who often removes their phone. And the bottom cover that hide the plug port, does not wear well, over time. Need to be gentle with it. Should also note that it does not support wireless charging in my car. Why did you pick this product vs others?:For the protective nature of the case.

Great strong solid case. Bought it for the high protection rating. Peace of mind for simple everyday use.Also looks nice on phone. And actually the cutout part is helpful and seems fine (and isKinda handy for holding phone lol.) Tho the cover has good grippiness too it. fits in pocket ok, and won’t slide out like many phone cases. My last one for different phone lasted years.

This is a perfect case...not too big and bulky, yet substantial enough to fully protect a $1000 dollar investment. Added with a screen protector, I feel like my phone is nearly impervious to almost any drop. Easy to install, claims it will allow wireless charging (I have not tried it), and provides protection to the expensive 16 Pro cameras on the back of the device.

This case is amazing and super cute! I have already dropped my phone a couple of times and it’s kept it from shattering or breaking. Also had it out with me when a huge rain storm hit out of nowhere and the case proved it’s waterproof 💯!! Very ease to place my phone in and I love the color!

I enjoy this case and have used it on all my other iPhones. I’ve found they’ve gotten easier to remove and install over the years which is great. They’ve increased protection around the camera this year compared to my last which is good. However, I do not like how there is not as much protection for the screen now (not raised on the sides). Also—as others have mentioned, the camera button cutout is poorly designed. Hurts my hand when I hold the phone, makes it feel unprotected, and could have easily been better. Good value for the money, and the design has stayed mostly consistent over the years, which is great—but the Camera cutout continues to be a disappointment and makes the case feel less protective.In my experience the case is functional and I use the anti slip capability a lot. However, in terms of its wireless charging performance, I have not had a great experience. I am unable to get a very fast charge from a MagSafe charger and the case gets hotter than I’d like. However, I’m very happy with the magnetic grip, it’s very strong and better than I expected.Disappointed they removed the plastic belt clip but you can still get it for free luckily with a provided in the box code.Overall, great case as always.

Good cell phone protection for my new i-phone 16 pro. Price, particularly for this color, was less than found in any other location. Fits my phone perfectly and is a nice blue-gray color. Good value.

This is my 5th Otter Box (3 for iPhones and 2 for iPad minis). For me there is no other case I would ever use on my Apple products. I also always use my Otter cases with a holster for added safety and protection and easy accessibility when I am hiking or biking.Yesterday I called my carrier and ordered a new iPhone. As soon as I hung up I came to Amazon to order this cover. The new iPhone arrived early this morning and it stayed unopened in its Apple box while I waited for the Otter Box to arrive. When the Otter Box got here I finally took the iPhone out of its box and directly into the Otter Box. Now I am ready to activate it. This procedure has been the same for every Otter Box I have ever owned. My electronics come out of the Apple box and straight into the Otter box. You should see the pristine condition of my iPhones when I trade them in!If you are considering an Otter Box for the first time let me tell you a quick story. About 2 years ago I was out hiking. My hike buddy and I stopped for lunch on a ledge overlooking a fantastic mountain view. I placed the iPhone (with a holster) next to me on the ledge and somehow accidentally knocked the iPhone off the ledge and down about 15 feet. My buddy was very upset about my iPhone. Me, I was cool as a cucumber because I KNEW my iPhone had survived. I found a way to climb down to the iPhone (no easy feat, let me tell you!) and retrieved it. When I went back up my buddy could not believe her eyes. Screen and iPhone working perfectly, not a scratch or dent anywhere. She said that had she not witnessed the fall my phone had taken she would have never believe it could survive without damage.That is what you get with an Otter Box, plain and simple. I would not purchase the same product over and over and over again unless I had experienced first hand how good it is. As far as I'm concerned, Otter Box is in a class by itself.
