Amazing pump, double amazing for the price
Fantastic pump, I've been using it on both Presta and Scrader valves and it worked very well on both. On the Scrader, I easily took it to 120 psi, impressive. I'm not sure where the 260psi number comes from, the gauge on the pump itself only goes up to 140psi so I think almost doubling that is suspect. However, no points lost on that as I can't fathom when someone would use a bike pump to get anywhere close to 260psi, 140psi is plenty and I did push the pump close to that and it performed flawlessly. The pump itself is nicely made, all rubber and steel. Particularly welcome is that the Presta/Scrader attachment is solid metal and not plastic, and the screw-on mechanism is less prone to leaks and breakage than the flip lever types. While I wouldn't take this on a quick excursion and would stick to a frame-mounted pump for that, it IS small enough to fit into a backpack for longer treks and the foot mount folds up so the whole thing is an efficient tube.If you look at inexpensive bike pumps you'll see many recurring complaints with them, most common being that air sometimes leaks out of the gauge, that the gauge pops off entirely, or that the attachment mechanism leaks or fails. This pump suffers from none of those problems.I would get this over more expensive pumps regardless of price, and I personally would take this over electric pumps because a manual pump is super reliable. If you're looking for a pump -- and you must be or you wouldn't be reading this -- you can stop looking. Get this, it's one of the best pumps I've ever used. And notice I'm not a Vine buyer, I bought this with my own money and got no compensation for this review, I'm just enthusiastic about it because I've used pumps that haven't worked well and it's a pleasure to have stumbled across this one. And super cheap!

It just works.
It's held up well in a cloth bag tied to the frame and it pumps air like a champ for its size.

PRETTY IMPRESSED WITH THIS PUMP
Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1750 members, over 100 official tours and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza in Coral Springs could tell you how much they make from our patronage. We spend tons on toys and accessories that just make the rides more fun, more enjoyable, more convenient. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. And what could ruin a ride faster than a flat tire? Not having air to inflate the repair. So this WEST BIKING Updated Tire Pump can come in very handy in an emergency. I am finding this pump to be a bit long or tall for storage on the bike. This will be more appropriate for keeping in the Jeep for use just before our slow rolls. It seems very petite, very diminutive. I was expecting something much beefier or more thickness. So at first I was unsure, expecting disappointment. But once I gave it a once over I was fairly impressed. As thin as it is it still puts out some decent power. It offers a very long stroke with sufficient pressure. The foot stabilizer bar is very thin but works. The hose is quite long enough for just about any reach. The dual head feature for both presta and schraeder valves screw in rather than clamps. This seems to work just fine. No changing out nozzles, no losing bits and pieces. What I was really wowed by is the built in pressure gage on the hose. It is an awesome feature that works fairly well. I felt that the pressures indicated by the gage are in the general area of the actual tire pressure. It is not exactly spot on. I always go by the feel of the tire anyway. But still a very cool feature. Overall it's very much worth the price. It will not beat an electric tire pump or compressor. Beats not having anything. Always be ready for the unexpected I always say. And as always remember:Ride Safe, Ride Strong. Ride Happy!!

The only pump you'll need or want
This is likely the best bike pump I've ever used. The light weight pump performs better than bulkier manual pumps. The pressure gauge is easy to read and is an essential feature. The combination Schrader/Presta inflater makes this the only pump you'll need.

No luck with Presta. Maybe it's me, maybe it's the pump.
Absolute nightmare to use with Presta valves. Unscrewing the fill-adapter from the valve releases too much air (less so a problem with Schrader valves, but they do also lose air), and filling can be finnicky because you'll thread this on only to find that it didn't engage with the Presta pin. It is easy to use mechanically and I like that it delivers a reasonable amount of air per pump, but if I can only use it on my daughter and wife's bikes (both Schrader) it's been a waste of money.
