Perfect!
Between this, and Pitaka cases, and a couple others here and there I think Speck is pretty good, and have really upped their game.. it’s hard to beat this case, and I’ll explain why, below.First off, I will say I’m a bit of a case snob. I’m not like a YouTube reviewer or anything but I am influenced by a lot of what I see on there, and I probably would have never known what Mous was had I not seen their YouTube videos where people were dropping their phones in the case from Outer space and what not. That said, they’ve calmed down on some of that stuff and people don’t really even do drop tests anymore on YouTube, which is kind of disappointing, but it’s really not needed when you have the reputation of being such a sturdy case.I used to cringe at spending $60 on a phone case but considering the garbage that you get now, about 75% of the stuff is mass marketed and just branded differently. And then you have companies like Mous, Speck, Uag, Pitaka, who have their own unique patent on their designs and they continue to listen to the consumer, which is why they are such great companies. I think Mous is honestly at the top of the list. And although I prefer ordering from Amazon because it’s more convenient, I have ordered from their website before as well and the Customerservice is second to none and often there are better deals on the website, than on Amazon. All that aside, this case itself is just great I mean it’s so good this is my third time or maybe even my fourth time getting the leather one I like materials on cases because the one problem that never seems to be resolved is that no matter what case you get no matter what brand you get and no matter how clean you keep your hands they are all grease and fingerprint magnets. But if you get something with, a material on the outside like what Mous does, with leather and wood, then you deplete that. Personally, I like leather over wood. I have never tried any of their wood cases, but my fear is that they might warp overtime. Even if they don’t, the feeling of leather. Albeit a small, thin layer.. is still more luxurious than a piece of wood! It’s always smooth, flawless, and seamless, and it only gets better with time. Who doesn’t love leather that’s broken in with patina! My only wish is I wish they made different color, leather, perhaps brown with a darker brown TPU, or whatever material the plastic is that they use. Maybe giving them a limited run to see if they sell well, but I’m sure they would be a hit.Back to the case itself.. it’s just flawless. All of the buttons are so easy to press they are not flat there’s no space for grime and crumbs and debris to get stuck in them. The case is tight and secure around the whole phone. The design has been copied by many with the higher corners and the flat middle, what I’m referring to is the lip around the screen. There’s plenty of coverage even with a thicker screen protector on. Sorry I don’t know all the terminology for phone cases and phone parts but everything just works. Everything seems like it was built for this phone and that’s what I’ve always gotten with every mouse case that I’ve ever had! They’ve also made it more grippy along the sides. There is sort of a diagonal line type of embossed design. It doesn’t look tacky or out of place at all, and it seems to serve a purpose. It’s definitely harder for your phone to slip out, and drop your phone. The backside, the lip around the cameras is just as good as the one in the front. There’s a little more branding on this one than there has been in the past now you get a logo by the camera, but you also get a logo on the bottom. I just love this case and we’ll see how it Wears overtime.I can tell you from personal experience.. mouse cases have never failed me. I’m not really one who drops my phone a lot but when you have a new phone you don’t want to even think about that so you want to make sure you have good cases. I tend to go overboard with the amount of cases that I buy but this time around, I’m probably gonna buy only about 10 instead of 50, and I’m just gonna go with the brands that I know and that I trust, that way, I don’t have to keep all these unnecessary cases taken up space, and believe me, even though they’re barely used it’s very hard to sell these things. I have tried many many times to sell lots of them on eBay and nobody buys them even for really good deals! It’s probably not something that anybody searches for because most normal people just need one case. Well, I’m definitely abnormal in that regard but a lot of people like to interchange their cases and when they do they always wanna have something that’s good and protective.I used my microphone on my phone to dictate this review so if you notice any typos, well, there’s your answer!

Worth it? I think so.
Just picked up my iPhone 15 Pro Max and was considering a LOT of different cases - primarily the Spigen Ultra Hybrid since that's what I had been running on my previous iPhone X, but also picked up a Lonli Classic leather case (pretty good but that's not the product I'm writing a review for here). This case was a weird buy for me because even though I've just purchased a $1200 iPhone, it still feels weird to drop $70 on a case - so is it worth it? I think yes. First impressions (the case came in this morning, 9/25/23, at 7:00 AM and I'm writing this at 4:25 PM) are very good: The majority of the case is made up of this kind of rubbery material that grips pretty well and if you feel like it doesn't grip well enough, the case has nice built-in ripples for your hands to hold onto that feel great - not too pronounced to where they become uncomfortable, but enough to provide some extra reassurance. It's a difficult texture to describe: kind of grainy, and smooth and rough at the same time. Kind of like coral but if coral was made of rubber.Buttons feel nice and tactile: presses are clicky and IMO they don't take much more if any more force to press than the iPhone buttons do without a case one. There's absolutely zero vagueness about whether you've pressed a button or not, and they're not so easy to press that you hit them on accident just holding your phone. The "aramid fiber" on the back is very pleasant to look at and surprisingly pleasant to the touch - it's not rough at all, and has a VERY pleasing and soft feel to it, almost like it's rubber and not a woven fiber. Again, difficult to describe but in no way a minus - I really like it and am pleasantly surprised by how good it feels. One downside of the material is it really shows body oil and sweat and therefore fingerprints really easily and quickly. I tend to have a decent amount of body oil as is and I sweat really easily so I got the back of this case kind of cloudy pretty quickly, with noticeable glossy spots. Not a huge deal for me personally but something that others might not like so I'll leave that info here. The case overall fits nice and tight, and I like that it is raised at the top and bottom enough that I can put the iphone face down without any worries of damaging the screen (not that I have to worry about it anyways, with the Spigen screen protector I've had on since I unboxed the phone). Likewise, the raised edges surrounding the camera go a little higher than on my Lonli classic leather case, which gives it more protection as well so I can put the phone down and in places without worrying too much about the camera. Obviously with such a large space for the camera lenses, it's a lot harder to protect with a case but this is about as good as it gets without putting an actual glass screen over the lenses which would just affect the camera functionality.Overall, I'm quite happy with the build quality, fit and finish of this case. Feels and looks premium and if it lasts me 5-6 years, which is usually the amount of time I keep a phone (or saves it from a particularly nasty drop), I'll be happy and will definitely feel that my $70 has been worth it. I would say the feel of this case definitely matches the price. The only other case I think I'd go for would be the Bullstrap leather case because of the 2 free replacements per year. I think a quality leather case would beat this out any day in terms of looks but when it comes to functionality and protection, this seems much better - and a pro is it's not too heavy! I feel like it doesn't add too much to the weight of the phone, considering how much area it has to cover. It's not a light case by any means but it could definitely be worse.
