The shovel has a unique design and innovative functionality. It’s as sharp as a blade, so be cautious not to touch it unnecessarily. I was more excited about the sound of the shovel than I am about the shovel. I got the shovel thinking I have was going to finish cleaning my sidewalk. This is more of a shovel scraper. I believe the handle's not as heavy duty as I would like. I'm glad my husband tried this after I did because at least he got it to go into the ground - I could not. I bent it horribly the first time I tried to use it and was convinced it didn't work at all. Once my husband tried it, he was able to at least get it to go into the ground though it still doesn't work for our purpose of edging. I ended up using large garden shears to edge instead. Save your money on this one!

This thing is ALL metal, even the 3 piece handle (I assume so it ships easier). Honestly I'd ratherha ve this attached to a wood handle, but its still quite sturdy.The blade is perfectly flat, so a terrible shovel, but if you want it for chopping weeds off a sidewalk/driveway, then its great.

This Garden cleaning shovel is very easy to put together and use. It took me less than a minute to put it together even though no instructions were provided. I immediately tried it out in my driveway and was able to get up a lot of weeds very fast. Even my partner was impressed with how much work I got done and so fast. I've never used a tool like this so I can't compare it to others, but I'm pleased with this one and recommend it.

This RISETEX Store- Garden Cleaning Shovel with 54" Adjustable Handle, Multifunctional Stainless-Steel handle and blade are plenty strong and sharp for general household use- just not sure the "SHOVEL" name fits! I really like this new scraper tool and definitely have many uses for it- mostly scraping and cutting with the sharp edge. The handles' threaded joints have very coarse threads and mine was a little tough to assemble- but this made the handle much stronger, and I know that the joints will not need any glue later! No ice where I live here in the AZ. high desert, but my back porch definitely needs some scraping and sanding before I paint it- with this tool, I can put a lot of torque onto the wood surface- easily. I am tempted to try it on removing shingles from one of my shed's roofs- but do not want to destroy the sharp edge trying to cut nails and staples! Totally excellent multiuse scraper! Great find!

I haven't had a great opportunity to really put this guy to the test yet. It seems solid, put together easily, and the blade seems sharp enough. It is totally a straight edge though so depending on the application, it may not have the right angle to accomplish what you are looking for (scraping weeds out of concrete cracks). I think it will well for us though and look forward to using it more this coming spring.
