Hot Bee Train Set with Remote Control, Luxury Tracks, Smoke, Lights & Sound

Adult son loved this for Christmas !!

My grandson loves being the conductor and tooting the train himself. It is a great opportunity to show him responsible play time as the controller of horn and speed. The smoke is just perfect not too much.

This was super cute, had all the stuff for the train set. The smoke coming out of the train was the cutest touch with the train sound. The only downside I can say is that it is fragile, with the tracks and they can come off easily unless there is a way you can glue or tape them closed. Other than that, it's such a cute addition for a kids' room, Christmas decoration, or some party theme.

Train is absolutely everything we were looking for to go under the Christmas tree.... Everything functioning does it should, it was easy to put together, aligning the train is a pain but much easier than most trains I've had to put together, ran well, very durable, etc... it would be absolutely perfect in every way but as the title says for toddler parents it can be a lot. The only issues I have are because I have such a small child whose obsessed with trains so I urge the company to take it into account. Sound: it's cute and volume is good but listening to it on repeat gets old so with no option to turn sound off or even down it does make me want to throw it out the window after a while Batteries: making something like this rechargable rather than using batteries would be a game changer and I would have absolutely paid more for it rather than waiting on a sale to buy it

I got the Train for my grandkids. It is small for them to play with. The cars are hard to connect and the tracks are even harder. Great for under the tree but not as a toy.

Let me just say that I've purchased and received as gifts from friends a few train sets for my young son in the past, and this train set, by far, is the easiest to put together. From the perspective of someone who assembles these trains that my son loves to watch, I'm all about what is the fastest way to get the train out of the box and operating. The instructions for this train set are simple and not complicated. From the time I opened the box, it took me about 15 minutes, if that, to have the train going around the elliptical track. It was great! What took the longest was figuring out how to remove the battery compartment, so I could place the four AA batteries (does not come with the set) inside. I unscrewed the compartment, but removing the battery compartment was a challenge. I had to use the screwdriver to pry the lid off, even after having unscrewed the compartment. But, once I got the batteries in, everything after that was smooth sailing. The train sounds are great, and it's easy to link the various carriages together. The trains move on the track pretty easily. So, maximum fun for my young son as soon as possible -- two winning advantages in my book!

While it’s super fun and very festive, the quality of the train itself isn’t the best. The plastic parts and the train body are well made, but the steam feature stopped working after just a couple of uses. Another issue is the battery compartment — it doesn’t fully close and kind of sticks out, which is a bit annoying - the train sometimes doesn’t respond as the battery is getting kinda loose and not fully aligned inside, so you have to push on that cover. The sounds are fun, but the train isn’t very stable and you really have to line it up carefully on the tracks for it to run properly. It’s a fun toy for toddlers (especially knowing they tend to be rough with toys anyway), but if you’re buying it specifically for a Christmas tree setup, I’d probably invest in something sturdier. And choose a version with a remote control. Trust me.

After using this train set for multiple holiday seasons, I can honestly say it’s become one of our favorite Christmas decorations. The train is sturdy and well-sized for younger kids, and the lights, sounds, and gentle smoke effect make it feel extra magical without being overwhelming. Assembly is straightforward, the tracks snap together easily, and it runs smoothly once set up. It’s been durable enough to handle excited little hands and repeated use throughout the season. One thing to note is that the sound can be a bit loud for some households, but it’s easy to turn off if you prefer a quieter setup. Tip: Place the track slightly away from the tree skirt to keep it running smoothly and avoid snagging. I highly recommend this toy train set & I hope this review is helpful 👍🏻

Not the same product as the image and descriptions. Very bad quality and very difficult for kids to use. Not hot bee but "orbita home" brand. For sure not for 3+ years because It has very small parts and the tracks have to be built piece by piece because they don't fit together as per the image.

The thing we don’t like is the smaller size of the wheels. Makes it a bit harder than necessary to put all the wagons onto the rails.( Really only a minor gripe) The kids loved it and when we had it actually running laps under the tree: it seemed to embellish the whole experience for children. They also loved the train noises and the smoke from the funnel.( just add water into the boiler) The cost was good. The shipping was very quick and fair. We thought if it was no good then we hadn’t wasted a whole lot of money- but this thing looks great just as a static display. However, we’re pleasantly surprised how it turned out. Yes- we as slightly sceptical purchasers recommend it! Very happy with it.
