I got a bunch of pee pads last year when I had a litter of puppies and none of them were as nice as these. These are super soft flannel but the backing is completely waterproof so they don't allow any moisture to go through. And because of the softness and thickness of the flannel, they will also absorb a lot of liquid. I took one whole corner of one of them and ran it under the faucet so it was soaking wet and none of the water came through the backside! I actually got these, not to use as pee pad since I don't need pee pads anymore, but rather as a moisture barrier to put on the dogs futon sofa. I have a waterproof mattress cover on the futon mattress itself and then I put blankets on top of the waterproof mattress pad but the dogs often come in soaking wet after swimming in the pond and then decide to jump up on their sofa getting the blankets all wet and muddy so I got these waterproof flannel moisture barriers to put on top of the blankets so since they are much smaller and easier to wash , instead of having to wash the blankets all the time which I can only wash one at a time in the washing machine, using the smaller blankets will keep the blankets underneath dry while also providing a nice soft surface that should also dry quickly. And I probably won't have to wash them as often because I'll just be able to pick them up and shake off the dirt outside. Even the color is very nice. It looks like the color of healthy real grass instead of the plasticky AstroTurf brilliant fake looking green. I think they are going for the authentic grass color look because they do have a nice earthy green shade to them. Maybe not an optimal fashion choice but definitely better than a lot of the really ugly pee pads that are on the market these days. LOL and they're a great value since you get four of them for less than $10 each and they're quite a good size. These can actually double as bedding on their sleeping and bedding areas even though I don't need a waterproof surface there, but these are so soft I'm sure the dogs would be happy sleeping on them.

The picture and sizes are accurate. They do seem to hold a lot of pee. However, because of the material my dog thinks it’s a blanket and won’t pee on it directly. I put a disposable pee pad on top and it caught the run off. However this defeats the purpose. So my dog now has some extra blankets to cuddle w. My dog just had surgery so going out potty is hard for him. He is 69lbs for liquid reference. Perhaps if you start with potty training with these a pup may use them for desired purpose.

These 2 mats are exact size of the dog crate I am using for my puppy. All the other pads I am using have to be folded. in odd shapes and"made" to fit. With these fitting better there is less edge for the puppy to notice and want to chew on. There is a nice finished edge, and non skid backing so it stays put in her crate very well. These came shrink wrapped in an envelope. In the picture, the green looks more plush similar to a thin carpet. Perhaps after washing these will too, but so far they have not perked up on their own. They are VERY flat. But with the fit of these being so well for my crate, I find myself liking these pads most so far.

My dog will not use these, they are very thin and poor quality. She's a Pug and first time she did use it, she just peed a little and it leaked through on my hardwood floor. Not worth the money and too much trouble to return. Also, it slides on my floor and it stated it was non slip, that's the reason she only used it once, it slid on her and scared her. Take my word, don't waste your money.

It's very soft and seems very durable! I say seems because my pup hasn't used the bathroom on it, which is a good thing ultimately. He LOVES to lay on it because it's soft. It looks like grass but is soft fluffy fabric. It has the exact material on the bottom/back like the other puppy pads that we have so I have no doubt it's waterproof like those. I have not tried washing it yet. The backing stands for the others we have but my concern would lie in how the soft fabric holds up vs the entire pad. Overall I am happy with the pad. It resembles grass and is super soft. It provides a nice different style pad than the smooth fabric on others.

They seem to be well on absorption, but as soon as I put them down, my dachshund had them all bunched up

I had ordered this for our dog to use in the garage. Our dog is a medium sized Australian Shepard that has about a years age to her. She had parvo when she was a puppy, so we had her using the garage for a month or two to reduce the sanitizing inside and outside, so she would be able to adapt to this large rug in our garage easily. The size is great and its quite large, at 66” x 72”. It’s absorbent and quite soft. We ended up using it inside the house, at our back door, before she could use it as a toilet. It was perfect for us to let her dry her paws on the rug before she comes in the house on those rainy days. Great value! I hope that this helps.
