Love this spread
This is our go to spread, creamy and with a nice light texture and less fat than its sister product, recommended.

Light butter that DOESN’T taste of terrors unknown
I have to eat a low-fat diet due to gallbladder issues. It can be problematic when it feels like every single recipe calls for butter (and would taste like an old shoe without it), especially when you see the fat content of a recipe go from 5g to 19g a serving and the only difference, between the two versions, is the addition of butter. Lurpak Lighter works because it’s not trying to be “fat free” - it still has some fat content, you still need to be careful not to use lashings, and it still contains real butter. It’s simply a lighter version. So you’re not just eating some strange form of who knows what type of oil that’s been passed through a magical crucible until it looks like butter, smells like butter, but tastes like a slightly creamier old shoe. Lurpak Lighter still tastes like butter, which is good news for those of us who maybe can’t have full butter, but shouldn’t receive a life sentence of dry crumpets as punishment.
