Produces Color Picture. Works well for our first outing running 150 miles over Labor Day (using on the back of a pontoon boat) to an Android in the car. Will keep you posted. Need to mention that the App would not work on my Galaxy S7. So I purchased a used Galaxy Note 4 (did not install a sim card) and it works well with that. Also use the Note 4 on my boat for navigation, works great for both!! - Update: 02/23/2019 - Re-downloaded the updated App on Google Playstore, my S7 is updated to 8.0.0.0 and now the App works great on my S7

Well, I got an error code when trying to connect to my phone. Since there is no phone number to call for technical support, despite the fact the instructions tell you to contact Customer Service if you receive the error for a solution, I finally found an email. So, I sent an email to which I received the following reply: "This error means this unit is not compatible with you smart device. You can try from other smart device or return it." I was able to get it to work on an older Android phone, so I need to test it on the road before determining if I'm returning or not. I'll most likely return as it was dropping the signal not driving...

this camera will work even when your phone does not have WiFi. we use it for work backing heavy equipment onto big rig trailers, we added two magnets to the base of the camera and a 8 battery pack using AA batteries. it will connect to I phones, android and I pads (all three at the same time). the picture is great. you will however notice some limitations on how far you can get away from the camera. with nothing to block the signal we can be about 100 feet away with a clear picture. it works so well for us i will buy 2 more very soon.

Used it when first purchased and worked decent, now only getting 3-4 FPS and constantly dropping signal on my motorhome.

Poor reception. I asked for the extra antenna but they never sent it or got back to me.
