I’ll start by saying that I gave this 5 stars based on the price point and quality of the bag. It’s a nice looking bag that I really like. It’s well made and has a magnetic snap closure on top and non-magnetic snaps on each side to make the mouth of the bag smaller or unsnapped to make it a bit larger. The straps are sewn on securely and I feel that they will last the lifetime of the bag. The bottom of the bag folds out flat and can sit up straight if the contents of the bag will allow. The tag says that it is 65% cotton and 35% Jute. I’m assuming that is only considering the outside of the bag as I’m nearly certain that the inside lining is made of a nylon or similar material but certainly not cotton or jute. I’m not saying that is a problem, just pointing that out in case it matters to someone. The drawback that I saw was that it says on the tag: Do Not Wash, Do Not Bleach, Do Not Tumble Dry, Do Not Iron (probably to account for the nylon lining), Do Not Dry Clean, Spot Clean Only. So, essentially, if this bag gets dirty, at say…. the beach, it isn’t washable. That’s a huge drawback to me and could almost be a deal breaker but then I considered the price and decided that, because it’s so well made, it will certainly last long enough for me to get my money’s worth from the bag. If it gets overly dirty, I will try washing it anyway and hope for the best. If it doesn’t make it… well, I knew I was taking a risk. I would consider this more of a medium bag when comparing beach bags and not a large. I really like the size and look. Worth the price.

And the inner pockets are perfect for storing personal items such as smart phones, ID cards, money, and just about anything else that's small enough to fit.This is a very well-made and fashionable bag, it looks great and makes carrying things a whole lot easier. And right now it's being offered at an unbeatable price. If you plan on spending some time outdoors this summer, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Living in sunny San Diego, I'm always at the beach, pool, or lagoon soaking up the sun. A good beach bag is essential for me, and this jute canvas beach tote is a nice addition to my collection. It’s cute and just the right size for my sunscreen, water bottle, Bluetooth speaker, snacks, and towels.The bag is well-made and sturdy, with a handle that's soft and gentle on my shoulder, even when it's packed full. Inside, there's a large zippered pocket that's perfect for keeping my keys and wallet secure and easy to access.However, there are a few downsides. The tag advises against washing, drying, or dry cleaning, recommending only spot cleaning. While spot cleaning might help with the canvas part, it likely won’t do much for the jute, making this a bag I will eventually have to toss. Plus, the bag arrived with a strong odor from the jute, and even after weeks of airing it out, the smell lingers.

This is a great medium sized beach bag. The snap closures at the sides allow you to change the shape of the opening of the bag. There's also a snap just under the handles, which essentially serves the same purpose of a zipper but is much easier to navigate when your hands are full. The bag has a lay-flat bottom and sturdy handles. I'd originally wished the handles were longer so I could sling this over my shoulder, but then I took it to the beach yesterday and wrapped it around the arm of my beach chair to keep it from hitting the wet sand and it worked brilliantly. Stylish and utilitarian--a great find.

Being advertised as a large beach tote, I was expecting something that would hold all of the things 2-3 people would want to take to the beach for the day. That's on me, as the measurements are clearly provided and I didn't check them. However, it's definitely much smaller than I expected by the description.Quality-wise, the bag is made well. The liner's great, love the zip pocket, and all of the snaps are securely in place. I have no fear that the snaps will pop off with use, but they're also not difficult to open when you want access.If you need something that is more grocery-shopping size than large beach tote, this may do just what you wanted.
