Osmo Action 5 Pro Standard Combo, Waterproof Action Camera

I bought this over a year ago and have been very happy with the product. We use it on our boat all the time. It has great battery life, our video is always clear, and it connects straight to our phone. It is waterproof and that is great for the boat. We get compliments on our highlight videos. It is very lightweight and has rock steady image stabilization.

Amazing video quality, excellent stabilization, long battery life, and very easy to use. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I picked up the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Standard Combo for my outdoor adventures, and I’m seriously impressed. Right out of the box, the camera feels solid and well-built, and I love that it’s fully waterproof without needing a case. The dual OLED touchscreens make framing shots and checking playback super easy, and the 1/1.3" sensor captures crisp, vibrant 4K video at 120fps that makes everything—from hiking to biking—look cinematic. Setting up subject tracking and stabilization is straightforward, and it actually keeps up with fast-moving action without feeling jittery or shaky. After using it on a few trips, I can confidently say this camera has elevated my content. The footage is smooth, colors pop, and even low-light shots come out clear. I love that it’s compact enough to carry everywhere, yet versatile enough for vlogging, sports, or casual filming. Whether I’m recording adventures or capturing everyday moments, it’s reliable, easy to use, and makes everything look professional. I’ll definitely be keeping this as my go-to action camera—it’s that good.

This thing is tiny, crazy light, and honestly punches way above its weight. I’ve been using it for my car detailing side hustle and it’s been an absolute game-changer. Haven’t edited the footage yet (will update if anything changes), but straight out of the camera it already looks fire.Audio surprised me the most – built-in mics are actually really solid for run-and-gun stuff. Yeah, I ended up grabbing the DJI Mic 2 set anyway because I’m extra like that, but I easily could’ve skipped it and been happy. •Battery life:1080p/60fps → easily 90+ minutes • 4K/60fps → around 30–35 minutes Not an issue at all though – it charges from dead to 80–100 % in like 30–40 minutes, or just carry a spare battery (they’re cheap and tiny). Video quality is stupid good. 4K looks gorgeous, colors pop, and RockSteady/HorizonBalancing stabilization is ridiculous – footage looks like it’s on a gimbal even when I’m moving around cars like a maniac. Low-light performance is noticeably better than my old GoPro too.Photos are legit beautiful as well, and the camera has its own built-in storage (up to ~47 GB usable if you don’t use a card), which is clutch when you forget your microSD. Transferring everything through the DJI Mimo app is brain-dead easy – just connect and download. Other stuff I love:Magnetic quick-release mount is addictive, swapping accessories takes 2 seconds Fully waterproof to 20 m without a case (I’ve hosed it down a bunch, zero issues) Fits in your pocket like it’s nothing – I throw it in my back pocket and forget it’s there until I need it If you’re on the fence, just pull the trigger. For what you’re paying, this thing is honestly hard to beat right now. Super stoked with it. Oh, and one more thing: this camera is legit so much fun for random everyday stuff. Whenever I have zero clue what to film, I just grab it, walk outside, and start recording whatever catches my eye. Some of my favorite clips started that way—just point and shoot whatever looks cool in the moment.

Really impressed with this thing. It's small enough to just live in my pocket, which means I actually bring it places instead of leaving it at home. Footage looks great, sharp, smooth, no complaints. Easy to grab and start recording without fussing with settings. Does what an action cam should do.

I absolutely love this camera; its durability in and out of the water is phenomenal, as well as the audio quality and ease of integrating mics. I personally like a more colour-graded camera because I'm not huge on post editing, and this allows me to achieve that. I only have one battery and can take it out on days at sea and not worry about running out of juice. It's great value for money; I recommend it!

Bought for my teenager who uses it skiing and mountain-biking. Did tons of research and went back and forth whether to buy this, a GoPro, or an Insta. Absolutely made the correct choice! Super durable, has all the technical bells and whistles, video quality is fantastic, battery is great, and got it at a great price. My kid was skeptical (as it wasn't a GoPro) at first, but he absolutely loves it. Great action camera!

I wanted something simple to use to replace my old handycam that was used for family get togethers. I like to put the videos on DVDs to watch on the tv. I know, I'm a bit old school lol. Pros: The battery holds a good charge. It takes good quality video. It doesn't have a lot of buttons. Cons: It didn't come with a charger. I was told to just use my phone charger. It's pretty small and hard to hold on to. For what it is and the fact that it doesn't even come with its own charger, it seems a bit overpriced. If it holds up as long as my old handycam, it will be the last one I'll need to buy.
