Enhance your gaming
Took it straight from the box, set up was a breeze. Works great. Linked to three Asus VG248QE's it works great. FSX looks amazing and Ghost Recon....you are part of the game.

A little finicky
I am using this product in conjunction with a new iMac, 3 DVI to HDMI adapters through HDMI cables and 3 Blackmagic HDMI to SDI mini converters. This unit can be a little finicky in this application and although they use the disclaimer that it is not guaranteed to work with all third party hardware I feel like it should be a little more user friendly in setup and adjustment.

Not Impressed.
Seller did a marvelous job. Delivered on time and the unit came in a timely fashion, as expected.Purchased this unit to expand an existing display system in a large auditorium to have a triple wide capability. Source is a late 2013 Mac Pro running OSX El Capitan. Output is to 3 Decimator MD-HX HDMI to SDI converters.- It took waaaay too long to get Matrox Powerdesk up and running. Powerdesk is almost embarassingly bad in the way it talks to the already finnicky display detection system built into OSX.- The matrox system is causing the most maddening bug I've ever experienced on a computer in that it causes the mouse to simply freeze for about a half a second every 10-15 seconds. Matrox has no solution for it, and Apple has announced quite resolutely that it is not their problem. This issue was not resolved with the most recent matrox driver update for el capitan.- I can run 3840x1080 across 2 displays just fine, but attempting 5760x1080 across 3 displays (as the unit is supposed to be able to do) is apparently absolutely out of the question. Upon attaching a 3rd display to the unit, powerdesk drops 5760x1080 and will only allow for 1350x480 per monitor as an option - which is completely unacceptable. Apparently the TH2G is extremely temperamental about which resolutions it will output to which monitors, and on OSX there is no way to force an output resolution in the matrox software. The unit works fine in dual mode. Try to go up to 3 displays and it becomes a waste of money. I'm not impressed.

DisplayPort to hdmi Adapter doesnt work
I bought this product thinking it can use a display port hdmi adapter but it did not work. It did come with all the wires you need to get the system working if you had display port.

It came broken... Unusuable
I've bought this and I think it came broken. Nothing I can do now as it is way too late from purchase warranty. I've bought extra cables, extra connectors. All work as I tested them independently..The Software will not read this damn thing... I'm really pissed with it and at myself for not returning it on time.

Three big screens!
After battling with an inferior model, this one installed like a dream. It was completely plug-and-play. The configuration software already had it worked out, so there was no need to change any settings. I also bought the USB power adapter, so I can keep the two USB sockets on my MacBook Pro free for other things. I use three screens on a mounting bracket above my desk, with my laptop below the middle screen. The screens are separate and a related side-by-side to the right of my laptop screen. I wish my laptop could be below the middle screen in a T-configuration.I use an Apple MacBook Pro 2011 model 8/750 with Mountain Lion.

Don't buy this...
I used the old version of this product for years, and absolutely loved it. The only downside was I couldn't get the resolution high enough, so finally I decided it had been such a great asset, I'd be the Digital SE. Knowing these things can have some quirks, I called tech support. I told them I was going to order this unit, and that I was willing to buy three brand new monitors as well. I just wanted a lead on what was best, and anything I should know. Truly I would have bought whatever the told me to. I just wanted everything to work well. I got the runaround on specific products to buy, so I just bought some really high end monitors and ordered the new TripleHead. While I do use it because I need the three monitors, this piece of hardware is a complete PAIN. I am constantly unplugging the USB and plugging it back in to get the monitors to come back up. At times all monitors will come up but one and that will take several minutes. I could go on and on, but if this was my first experience with this product, I would have never given them a second chance. Support has been no help, so I just live with it.

I would like to return this item
Gentlemen,After a few headaches with the Matrox Digital SE, I would like to return this item. Their cable broke the inside of my new Surface Pro 4 laptop (I'll need to get it fixed soon but Microsoft is at least a month wait). Because of that, I bought a new desktop PC to Handle Three monitors (built it from new parts at Fry's). I hooked up the Matrox with my 3 monitor/tv's and it works but the resolution is too low. I change the Matrox to 1920x1080 and then everything goes black. I try and try but nothing helps. I then read the Specs of the Matrox and right next to the 1920x1080 resolution, it says it can handle, there is a little one with a circle around it. When I read it, it says it only supports 50 cycles and not the us version of 60 cycles. My monitor/tv's are 60 cycle only. I've tried to contact Matrox and I needed to sign in with a password, which I have, but it no longer works and my user name/email is now locked out. Not sure what I've done wrong but three months later and I am very tired of trying (even trying to get the lower resolution mode to work is impossible. Only 2 monitors will work and that is not good enough.
