i bought two of these to help house my growing gaming and tech collection. seeing as i price was good and the reviews were alright i figured i'd give them a shot. as they are far from perfect. they house my PC, games, and consoles amazingly and are far more sturdy than one would think! putting them together was a pain (what furniture you have to assemble isn't?) and the packing Styrofoam was a nightmare as it crumbles when you move it. but it arrived no damage and the fit and finish was far better than i thought it'd be. the ONLY issue i had of annoyance was that when i went to put the second one together the bag of hardware wasn't sealed properly and was scattered everywhere in the shipping box, luckily all still there just scattered. long and the short is when i need more storage i do plan on getting more of these. they work, and the price was shockingly good,

While it does the job, this bookshelf is not much for looks. The bottoms of all shelves are not finished (it's just the wood), so you can see the wooden bottom of the top shelves, even if the bookshelf is black. There was also not great coverage of screw ends. So if you're going for a chic, finished bookshelf, this is not it. If you are just looking for a bookshelf regardless of looks, this is the one for you.

I really hoped to like these. I knew they were cheap and that they were going to be a little flimsy, but they are so flimsy that I don't even trust putting anything on them. Without the adjustable shelves in it is damn near collapses on itself. If you have pets or children, I would not recommend this because one small bump could snap it in half. The packaging had a ton of foam and padding and my boxes didn't come banged up, they actually looked in good shape but despite that the bookcases still looked scuffed and dinged like it had been used already. I'm going to make my own wooden back for these and do some rigging on mine to reinforce them because it's too much work requesting a refund and then shipping them back. They are big and heavy.

Great bookshelf for my figures/statues. It was fairly easy to put together, and the instructions weren't too difficult to follow along. For the price of the bookshelf, it was great quality. Don't expect a $300-$400 quality bookshelf, but it gets the job done! Looks great too!

LOVE this bookcase. VERY sturdy. It is tall so I had to put brackets at the top to secure to wall to prevent tipping over. But I totally LOVE it.

1st of all, although I ordered this exact item, the item I received was a Mainstays product from Walmart. Getting that out of the way, the measurements were as listed, so I kept the item/s (I ordered 2 of this bookcase). Remember this product costs less than $50 ea, and is made of particleboard w/ a cardboard back. For what I wanted, this was perfect. It took less than the estimated 1 hour each to assemble, which I completed by myself. I would actually have given this 5 stars, but again I received a product from a different manufacturer.
