Great Cosplay Dagger for Cheap
ITEM: 15" Fake Foam Swords Martial Arts Weapons, Realistic Dagger Knife Toy, Foam Short Sword Prop for Play Fighting and Assassins Costume AccessoryI have not done cosplay for a very long time, but I was curious about this foam dagger when I came across it. While the dagger is not without some very minor flaws, what you get for the $10 price is pretty darn great. The dagger is made of a very rigid foam, almost like a light wood. I prefer this over more flexible foam, so I think this will hold up beter over time. The design is looks good for a basic dagger, not understated or overstated. The paint job is is black and silver, but it is done well enough, even if it has a very slightly cartoony vibe to it.The overall length is 15" with the grip at around 4.5". The size and proportions are very believeable for an adult hand.My only real (minor) complain is that the seam from the mold is a not as smooth as I would have liked on the handle, thought the blade seam is acceptable. I did try using an exacto-knife to clean up the seams, but the underlying foam appears to be black, so it really sticks out on the silver pieces. If the handle had no silver at all, the clean up would be unnoticable. A properly matched silver paint could remedy that for someone interested in small details.Overall, I thought this was a great buy considering the price.

Great!
Got this for my son who has a collection of play swords. We use lots of fake swords for costuming purposes as well. This is more of a dagger length, like a Peter Pan sword. He really likes it! It's high quality foam rubber, not easy to deform, has a good hefty weight, and he likes the detail and design. From a distance, it kind of passes for metal, so it's a good option if you don't want the obviousness of a wooden sword/dagger.A good size to be visible if worn with a costume, but not as cumbersome as wearing a full-length sword, so you won't crash into people whenever you turn around, or it won't bonk into your leg when you sit.My son did spar with it against a full-length foam sword, and he says it held up and seems sturdy. Recommended!

Great
This thing looks exactly as pictured and is pretty good quality. Stood up to a 9 year old stabbing a cardboard box enough to put holes in it. Great quality.
