I have a light windbreaker, but wanted a little more heavy duty windbreaker and this one is great. It is just a little thicker and heavier than my other windbreaker. This one I think will be better for when it is cold. I ordered my regular size, medium and it fits great--I can definitely still layer a sweatshirt under it if I need it. I love the color, there are so many pockets, the hood can be removed if you just want to use if as a windbreaker on a cold day. I did wear this outside recently on a rainy day and came in dry. This definitely seems like a much more expensive, name brand windbreaker but at a fraction of the price. I definitely will be using this and am so glad I have it!

Wore this coat to an outside band competition in the pouring rain. Coat didn’t even feel very wet and my clothes were perfectly dry. Also was very warm but not bulky. Coat dried very fast. I Would highly recommend this jacket

good qualits but runs small

I absolutely LOVE this raincoat! I am not sure which major brand this aligns with, but it feels like high-quality hiking jackets in much pricier brands. I am an avid hiker, backpacker, and kayaker. Having a well-designed coat on cool or wet days can make the difference between drudgery and enjoyment. This coat exceeded my expectations with the fit and features.Quality - the coat is a relatively thick material, a bit heavier than my other rain coat. It is lined and makes an excellent fall or spring jacket that is comfortable even when it is getting wet. The windbreak quality is outstanding and the zippers are sturdy and slide easily. The one thing I am unhappy with is the elastic on the hood. It is not connected correctly in my jacket and immediately came loose. I am not quite sure how to fix it as there is no way to access that part of the hood.Features - I love the pocket size and zippers, and the shape. The removable hood is an asset for when you just need a wind break and don't want extra weight hanging off. I like the high collar and neck protection, it prevents rain from running inside the coat when wearing the hood. The velcro on the sleeves is lovely when you are hiking with poles and keeping your hands around heart-height for circulation and they keep the water from running up your arms inside the coat.Fit - For reference, I am 5'4" (borderline petite), wear a size 10/12 usually, or size Medium US size, weigh 175-lbs give or take a few, have a 36C chest and size 32-34" waist. I got the size large and it fits perfectly. I usually have trouble with my hourglass shape and coats fitting over my hips, but this one fits perfectly.Would I recommend this? Yes. I think it is a great coat. Just check that everything is working like it should immediately after receiving it. Any product can have quality control issues, and this is no exception. For the price, though, I am generally quite happy.

Been keeping at eye out for a decent rain jacket and this popped up in my feed so figured I'd try it. I ordered a 3XL and it fit me perfectly. For reference, I'm a 42G/3XL in Torrid/Amazon/Target brand clothing. When I tried this I was wearing a t-shirt. It was comfortable enough but anything thicker (sweatshirt or medium weight sweater) would be a bit tight for my chest size.This arrived just in time as the hurricane weather was hitting our area shortly after I ordered the jacket. We had massive winds and heavy rains for days so it was the perfect time to try this out. I can confirm it is relatively waterproof (never once did it soak through on my way to or from my car) and the hood covered my head well. It's summertime so it was warm out (hence I was wearing t-shirts and thin blouses) but I was never overly warm.Ultimately I'm very happy with this and for the price ($44 as of this review) you can't beat it!

I ordered this to replace my wifes old rain jacket that lost it's waterproofness. The old jacket was from a name brand outdoor sports gear company and was much more expensive.We were impressed by the quality of this jacket for the price. The material is very soft and flexible. The old jacket felt a little hard and stiff.All the seams and zippers seem to be sewn well on this one. It has a quality look and feel to it. My wife wears a large, ordered a large and it fit her well. I would order one for myself if they made a mens style.How waterproof is it? Well it doesn't rain near our home all summer so it won't get tested for another month or so when we take a trip to the pacific northwest. If it performs poorly I will update this review.

This works well for seasonal sports. This is comfortable and it's warm.
