I was looking to try a retinol alternative since I’m still breastfeeding my baby. But also all the side effects of retinol for the payoff wasn’t worth it to me especially if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, breastfeeding etc. they highly advise to not use ANY retinol while pregnant and breastfeeding. I haven’t been using any retinol since getting pregnant and kept telling myself I would get an alternative. Finally a year and a half later here we are lol.So I usually order stuff from yesstyle or olive young but I didn’t want to commit to a big order just for bakuchiol and that’s when I saw this. I was a little wary because I’ve never heard of this brand but I see an immediate plump & glow after just a week of using it! Also the price is more than fair! I have rosacea and sensitive combo skin. I feel like after using this for just a week in combination with my normal routine it’s been very effective. My skin feels better and I see a visible difference. I wish I took before and after photos !! The bottle feels nice and just one “pump” covers my whole face. It also says made in Korea which is a big plus for me! So if you are looking for a retinol alternative this one is great!

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and bought this serum because it claims to cause "zero skin irritation." I usually read ingredient lists carefully before trying new skincare, but this time I fell for the hype.After the first use, my pores looked smaller and my skin had a subtle glow. So far, so good. But by the second use, my skin turned red, inflamed, and covered in tiny bumps. It felt extremely tender and even stung when I washed it off and applied my usual soothing moisturizer.When I finally checked the ingredients, I saw it contains fragrance and essential oils like Limonene, Linalool, Lavender, and Bergamot. These are all potential irritants for sensitive skin, and I’m assuming they were the cause.I really wanted this to work, especially since it's packed with ceramides. But if your skin is anything like mine, I’d skip this one.

I love this product.This product has seriously changed my skin for the better. I have ultra sensitive skin so I can’t use retinoids or tretinoin without my skin turning super irritated and red.This stuff tightens my pores and plumps up my skin. Ive been using it for two months and my skin is glowing. I havent experienced any purging or irritation so far.There’s no strong scent as far as I can tell. The texture is super soft and absorbant. My skin feels hydrated after use.I think I saw positive effects after about month of consistently using it morning and night.Really good product. Would recommend it to anyone who has large pores or wrinkles they want to plump up.
