Excellent value for Money
Small size was a good fit for my hands (small female!), the leather softens as they warm up on your hands and become flexible and comfortable. The gloves are pretty much bramble proof and provide a reasonable protection against larger thorns too. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality.

Not what I thought....
Initially very impressed with the quality and feel, size of these gloves. However I only recently started to wear them for potting up some plants. I was dismayed to find small spinters got through and my hands got dirty inside them while using damp compost for my plants, so I now wear nitrite gloves underneath, I will wear like this when I can but I know it will make me hot wearing the plastic gloves, not ideal but still, will have search some new ones for pruning shrubs with thorns next season as these are not as thick as my old ones I threw away when these first arrived.

Brambles? These are the gloves you’re looking for
I’ve been really surprised at how good these gloves are, I was looking for a pair of cheap gloves to protect my hands when removing a huge bank of brambles in my garden. When I first received them I was surprised at the quality feel of the leather, trying them on for size I found them to be a great fit, and the stitching quality is excellent. It took a couple of days to clear the brambles and they stood up to this task well, I had only one instance of a thorn penetrating the gloves. If I have one criticism, it is that the elasticated wrist is of a design that does catch and allow debris inside the glove. For the price I paid (about £12) I’m very happy with the gloves.
