I upgraded my video-setup with the Insta360 Link 2C Graphite, and overall I’m impressed. Right out of the box you can tell this isn’t a basic webcam, the build is solid, the magnetic mount nicely designed, and the physical privacy shutter is a welcome touch.Video & image qualityThe 4K at 30 fps capability really stands out. In usage, I noticed much finer detail than my old built-in laptop webcam, hair strands, textures, and facial definition all come through clearly. The autofocus and auto-framing perform well: when I held up objects in front of the camera it refocused quickly and smoothly.Software & featuresThe companion app is comprehensive: you can adjust exposure, white balance, add effects (blur, bokeh), and enable features like white-board mode or pause-track zones (where the camera ignores certain areas). Gesture controls are included (raise your hand to frame yourself, use “L” shapes to zoom) but they’re not flawless there were times I needed several tries for the zoom gesture to register. Noise-cancelling mics are built in and handle background chatter better than many webcams, though it’s still no external mic in terms of crispness.What works well• Outstanding upgrade over typical built-in webcams: excellent sharpness, very good portability.• The physical privacy shutter gives peace of mind.• Lots of software features make it versatile for content creation, streaming, or video conferencing.Limitations / things to be aware of• 4K at 30fps only; if you need 4K at 60fps this isn’t that camera.• The gesture controls and some AI features occasionally feel gimmicky or unreliable expect to manually adjust settings for best results.• In low-light the image quality dips a bit unless you invest some time in the app settings (enable HDR, lift brightness).• While the mic is respectable, if you’re serious about audio you’ll still want a dedicated external mic.Summary verdictIf you’re looking for a step-up from standard webcams and want something that covers 4K, good software support, portability and premium build then the Insta360 Link 2C is a strong choice. I am super impressed with the camera, Some people have reported sync issues with the audio, if you are teaching a musical instrument over the internet then this could be a real pain. I see that problem when I watch my camera in the software app that came with it but when I use my Windows camera application and use the Insta360 I don't see any of the problems. The built in microphone is perfectly adequate for talking, possibly better than other webcams I own but I wouldn't use it for singing or playing an instrument. I tried recording through the bundled app but my experience wasn't great, maybe I should try again. The bundled software gives me way more control over the various settings than I am used to and I have got most of it set to automatic right now. It doesn't always save away the changes that I make and that annoys me a bit. But I made the purchase for the camera, the software not being great was not going to be a deal breaker for me.

Great little camera with surprisingly impressive image quality. The autofocus is fast and accurate, which makes a big difference when you’re moving around or adjusting your setup. I use it mainly for video calls and going live on social media, and it performs flawlessly every time.If you’re someone who does a lot of online meetings, livestreams, or content creation, I’d absolutely recommend this. Compact, easy to set up, and well worth the investment.

Ever since Zoom and Teams became a thing I have been using a Logitech C920 camera and noticed that the colours in my face were washed out no matter how much I fiddled with the settings, and the image was grainy (as I sit quite far back from where the camera is). I put it down to using an old computer. But recently, I changed my PC and the image was just the same, so I bought this camera when it was on special at £99. The difference is immense. The colours are restored to my face, and it is only grainy if I move around in low light. What's more, it's so good in low light that I can use it in a completely dark room illumuinated by just the light of my monitor. This is not necessarily a criticism of the Logitech (though a lot of reveiws says it tends to wash out colour and over expose faces in certain light conditions). The Logitech is a less expensive and lower rated camera. It's just a review to show anybody else who might be in a the situation I was in to know that the difference is night and day, and that might well be true of other 4K cameras too.

Build quality is very high quality - good weight both the camera and the screen mount. Feels solid and metallic, not cheap and lightweight.Magnet in camera holds it very steadily on the stand so from a build and feel perspective, it’s excellent.Picture has great colours and tones - very detailed and up there with the best.HOWEVER!! If you want 60fps you need to turn off the virtual camera functionality which means no bokah, backgrounds or any of the other picture features. It doesn’t even give you the option for 60fps unless you turn virtual camera off!No option to record mp4 from the Insta 360 software - recordings were sound and pictures out of sync.Such a shame as the picture vibrancy for me has the edge on the OBSBOT meet 2, but the user experience, lack of 60fps, and poor software experience meant it was returned pretty quickly.

He estado probando la Insta360 Link 2C tanto en Windows como en Mac y, en general, estoy muy contento con su rendimiento. La calidad de imagen es fantástica, con un sensor de 1/2" y tecnología HDR que captura detalles con una nitidez notable, incluso en condiciones de poca luz. El enfoque automático es muy rápido y preciso, lo que es genial para mantener la imagen nítida si muestras cosas a la cámara. Además, el efecto bokeh natural le da un toque muy profesional a las videollamadas (pero requiere usar la cámara virtual y yo lo hago con NVidia Broadcast en Windows y con el modo Studio en el Mac).El autoframing va muy bien y te mantiene siempre centrado sin que tengas que preocuparte, y el control por gestos es un añadido muy útil para manejar el zoom o activar modos específicos pero hay que tener cuidado o lo puedes activar por error (yo solo le dejo el gesto de activar/desactivar autoframing porque no me grabo de pié en movimiento). El micrófono con cancelación de ruido por IA también hace un buen trabajo filtrando los sonidos de fondo, aunque yo utilizo un micro profesional para las grabaciones y me da un poco igual, pero es interesante si va a ser el que uses para videoconferencias y cosas así.Sin embargo, he notado algunas cosas al compararla con mi OBSBot Meet 2, que es de la misma categoría y calidad, también 4K, y un precio algo menor. La Insta360 Link 2C tiende a tener una imagen un poco más pálida en comparación (hay que tocarle la saturación un poco para que se vean tonos de piel más naturales). El software es muy comparable en las dos, con similares características, aunque el de la Insta tiene algunas cosillas menos (que yo no uso, como filtros de maquillaje y cosas así). El tamaño de ambas es comparable, pero la Meet es más cuadrada mientras que esta ocupa más espacio a los lados pero es más baja, aunque realmente es más voluminosa en total. El peso es similar y las dos traen un soporte para el monitor muy parecido, aunque el de la Insta360 es metálico. Ver una de las fotos adjuntas para verlas una al lado de la otra.El sistema de privacidad es una pieza deslizante que cierra la cámara como si fuese un diafragme. Es mucho más cómodo e integrado que el de la Meet, que trae una pieza metálica que se agarra por magnetismo y debes tener por ahí cuando se la quitas.La Insta360 Link 2C es una herramienta de nivel profesional, con una calidad similar a la de cámaras profesionales mucho más caras y una gran cantidad de funciones útiles que no tendrías con una de estas. Es una inversión que vale la pena si buscas una webcam de alta gama.

I’m really impressed with this webcam! the picture and sound quality are amazing! A few key things to note are that the lens can be covered and you can use it on a desk tripod as well! I especially love the noise cancellation because it’s perfect for working from home. Now nobody has to hear my cat meowing or my stomach growling in the background! 😂

Image quality is really good. Audio quality is also fairly good. You need to disable noise cancellation option on Teams to ged good audio quality if you’re using Teams. This worked without installing the controller software on my office laptop.
