I have tried several different generic offerings for the AirPod max This aftermarket accessory didn’t have the adverse effect on the overall sound experience, nor did it limit the ANC function. The cups fit well into the headset and the magnetic power is sufficient to hold the ear-cups in place. The original earcups do start to smell a bit if used at the gym for heavy physical activity that induces heavy sweating. These are a great way to have a backup ready while washing and drying the primary set. This is a great option to avoid downtime of use and keep you ready to go.

I expected lower quality to be honest. Competing with genuine Apple product quality is hard even with worn pads. However, when I put these replacements in, I was pleasantly surprised by a perfect fit and restoration back to new for the Pad feeling.Mission complete. These are worthy replacements.

I use this replacements for the gym so I don’t mess up my OEM’s. Works great as if it were the OEM.
