I really, really wanted to like this chicken teriyaki rice meal
I have to admit, this chicken teriyaki rice sounded really good and nutritious. I decided to give it a try. I really, really wanted to like it.Boy, was I wrong. I had 3 bites, trying to tell myself it couldn't be this bad. Yuck, it was nasty. Even though it had chicken in it, even my dog wouldn't eat it - she sniffed it and walked away. Since it's not returnable and it came as a package of 3, I'm giving the remaining 2 meals to a food bank. Maybe someone else will find it edible.

Tastes awful, threw it all away--seller refunded, no questions asked
UPDATE: Without asking for one, the seller reached out and refunded my order with no questions asked. I was NOT asked to change my review, just great customer service. I have added a star and a half b/c sometimes support is just as important.ORIGINAL: I hate leaving negative reviews but this tastes so bad that I want to warn the consumer. I couldn't finish more than a few bites (same as wife) and threw it away along with the 2 unopened boxes. I wouldn't give this away. Sorry to the brand / seller but this is absolutely terrible.

Avoid it if you can
It’s peasant gruel. Sounds elitist to bash a food item like this, but it is what it is. Almost flavorless, unappealing textures, gross to look at. Easy to prepare: Just glop it out of the box into a microwave-safe dish. If you can finish a serving, it fills you up. If you’re on a very low budget & haven’t researched other options, & have zero time for other microwave meals, it might be worth it.

Throw some money away
Very unpleasant taste. I immediately spit it out and discarded them all. Does not deserve one starA mess to remove from package and put in microwaveable bowl.

It’s really convenient for this, just heat up and eat. Would I buy it again?? Maybe if I was paid to eat it but otherwise no. I rather make it from scratch but it was still really good. And I wish it was cheaper but it’s okay.
