Good Battery
I spent a good deal of time reading reviews of 'genuine' Nokia batteries. I don't subscribe to the view that if it's cheap then it's alright for the vendor to claim that it's genuine and/or new. I chose this seller because the reviews were encouraging and the price seemed reasonable.I am pleased with this purchase. The battery arrived quickly. I think it's a genuine, new, Nokia battery. The hologram and printing on the battery are the same as my original. The contacts are gold plated and are not scratched by previous use. The battery is clean and unmarked. It charged quickly and has the capacity that I would expect from a new battery.

Would use thiis seller again.
Everything okay including delivery; this battery got me out of a pickle. The only issue was that the battery life was not as good as I expected but this could be what it should be as I used it on a very old Nokia phone and comparing it to the latest phones hence the 4 stars. I definitely would use this seller again.

USELESS: LIke all "genuine Nokia" battery replacements I ever purchased
After 1st charge the battery lasted 6 days on STANDBY ONLY (not used for texting or talking); on second charge I noticed it charged very quickly (always a bad sign) and then lasted 4 days on STANDBY ONLY. So I returned it.I question if these so-called "genuine" batteries are just that .... over the last few years I have bought "genuine Nokia" batteries for my 1661 and it is always the same; the battery is useless..... in the past i allowed the seller to send me a replacement, but that was equally useless. They just end up lasting one day and then discharging very suddenly. Why is it so difficult to get a battery that is as good as the one originally supplied with the phone? I have a few Nokia 1661s and the original batteries in some of those are still lasting two weeks or more on standby. Something is wrong somewhere.

Works ok
Arrived really quickly but slightly lighter than my original phone battery. However after a couple of days is lasting longer than the old one so does the job and very acceptable for the price.

No problems
I was a bit worried when I ordered this battery as there seem to be issues with the performance of some of the other batteries listed under this heading. I decided to opt for the most expensive - even so it was only about seven quid. It arrived about five days after I ordered it. My mobile now performs as new and as they say, it does what it says on the tin!

Looks authentic.
Arrived in a couple of days in original Nokia packaging and two bubble wrap envelopes. The battery looks new and has a Nokia logo on it. Put it in the phone and it has some life in it. Haven't tested it over a few days yet though so can't comment on how long it'll last but it looks authentic.

Perfectly good battery
I am not entirely convinced about the authenticity of this Nokia battery - the hologram is not as clear as that on the original. Having said that, the phone is transformed by having a battery that lasts at least as long as it did when the phone was new. The phone achieves almost a week of light use on a single charge. Genuine or not, it doesn't really matter to me; the battery is brilliant for the money and that is what matters.

Not new - very misleading
So the price was OK, the shipping free, and the delivery was excellent - the battery arrived the very next day. It's on charge now - and will probably work once charged, BUT - it's not what I thought I was ordering! I believe this battery, to be second-hand, well used already and NOT NEW as advertised. Here's why I think this....1. It does not arrive in any official packaging, such as a marked blister pack, It just comes in a small plastic zip bag.2. There are scratch marks on the three battery terminals where it makes contact in the phone - normal for a battery that's been fitted & used before.3. There is a small dent in the battery casing.4. The paper wrapping is coming off, at the point where you'd use a fingernail to take it out of a phone.5. The battery is generally dirtier and scruffier than the old battery I removed from my phone. It arrived totally flat (not necessarily a problem) so at first, the phone will not work. It's on charge right now - let's see if accepts a full charge. I measured the voltage across the three terminals; absolutely zero. Whereas the voltage of the battery on the one I took out (fully charged) was 3.83v and 4.12v across terminals 1 to 2, and 1 to 3 respectively.OK - so it will probably work once it's charged. It will serve as a spare. BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED. I want a brand new battery, to give me the maximum performance and duration these older Nokia phones are capable of. Used batteries are a gamble - you may get a good one, or you may get a poor one which is no better than the one you want to replace. These batteries are advertised as "NEW", but I dispute that. They should listed as "used" - and perhaps, "fully tested by us" - if known to be good ones. I will submit these words to Amazon now, as I do not believe these batteries should be advertised as new items.
