3d glasses - great
Bought these as our first ever 3d glasses to go with our new Sony tv and they are great. My only criticism would be that they do start to feel heavy after a couple of hours so if i was going to spend more money i would go for the lighter ones. I am a glasses wearer and they fit fine on top of my glasses fine (this could also be a factor in me feeling the weight of them after a movie but its nothing major and for the price i paid they are amazing. I would price these at around £30, if you can get them for that price or under your getting a good deal. If your going to pay more than that i would look for something a little lighter and less bulky. These charge up very quickly and have never run out on us when watching a film. Overall excellent glasses for a fab 3d experience.

A novelty for me that works
I found it hassle free to start using these 3D glasses even if I had zero previous experience in home 3D. It makes comparing it to other alternatives impossible so I will just give it my personal opinion as a newby here. Glasses are quite massive in comparison with prescription or IMAX 3G glasses but this was expected. After taking them from packaging I let them charge till full (the amber light went off) and it only took 20 minutes for it. Next step was to start Resistance 3 (one of the few titles I have that support 3D), press power button on glasses, enable 3D support in game option and here I go. I'm using Sony Bravia KDL55EX720 that came with automatic 3D source detection turned on so there was no need to go and change any setting on TV. I must say that you need to get used to it or it might be my personal issue (one of my glasses is quite weaker then the other). It was different from Cinema 3D in that it required for me to "work" to get a proper feeling for the depth. After that if was flawless. I didn'nt notice any artifacts or rainbowing, etc. The only downside is that picture in 3D is a lot darker so I need to crank backlight brightness a lot. And then set it back for non 3D... And again... The bottom line is that I am happy with the whole experience and might consider buying a second pair. The only annoyance with picture brightness might not be that big of a deal for other TV model.

Decent Product
Purchased these glasses on the back of a recent Sony Bravia TV purchase. To be honest 3D doesn't seem to be that well developed for home entertainment yet but what limited programmes are available these glasses do the job. Clear and sharp picture, easy to use and charge and although after a while you can feel a mark on your nose forming through wearing the product they are not that heavy that it gets to uncomfortable. As a bonus point for these glasses after being launched through the air and walked over a few times by my 2 year old son, who seems to find them regadless of where I store them, they are still in excellent working condition.

Wasnt impressed at first BUT >>>
Wasnt impressed at first BUT after some tweaks these things are amazing! been watching some sbs 3d youtube videos with them on my 2011 sony bravia 32" tv and i tell ya, active 3d is the best way of doing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73g5-jISB_s If you have a proper film thats been encoded in sbs 3d they are awsome, im using mine for gaming using the TRIDEF 3D directX games driver, the tv does the work meaning your games run smooth as silk. So impressive you can reach out and touch things, very realistic! Dont bother with simulated 3d its useless, use proper 3d films and games instead for a brill experience! this is better than a 3d pc monitor by far. Pc monitors use interlacing that ruins the picture. 2011 bravia tvs dont need a 3d transmitter its built in to the tv so its all good, yes indeed these gl;asses are awsome when everythings setup properly.

Worth the money??
I splashed out about £1000+ on a new Sony 3D televison and a new Sony 3D Blu ray player, I then needed a pair of 3D glasses, I choose these, not the cheapest! I must say, these Sony 250's looked and felt very cheap and flimsy, not the quality I came to expect of Sony, the build quality was pretty poor, and I get the impression, they will certainly not last! As for the 3D experience, well, not impressed there either, personally, had I known all this before forking out over well over £1000, I would wait until this 'feature' improves, it's little more than a gimmick in my humble opinion. It's a bit of short lived (very expensive) fun, also, the 3D films, are a lot more expensive, where, even older 2D DVD's ( not blu ray) are upscaled and produce superb results. My advise, would be to wait, or, find a friend, or Hi Fi shop where you can experience this 3D set up, to see if it's for you ..... or not! All this is my personal experience of course, please feel free to comment.

Sony TDGBR250 3D Glasses
Work quite well under most conditions of ambient light in the room , but found if you close some of the light out of the room it is better and are fairly lightweight, they can be worn with reading glasses under them without any discomfort but are a bit heavy after time if you are watching sport or a long film, sturdy construction and good charge capacity with a decent bag to store them in when not in use. We are all satisfied (4) with them.

Recgargeable Sony 3D Glasses
Good product and cheaper on Amazon than from the Sony Centre, where I made my original purchase. I only had one pair of glasses which came with my Vaio Sony Bravia Laptop. They take a new battery each time they run out of power. These new ones worked as they should and only take a few minutes to charge. I would recommend this product as they are cheaper to buy and cheap to run, with no difference in performance. They are quite comfortable as well.

Great! I love my TV but not happy at ...
Beware, although description states this is compatible with all Sony Bravia TVs, it isn't! We own 55W829BBU model I just confirmed with Sony, it is not compatible with any of the newer models i.e. 2013 or 2014 models since although active 3D, it uses different technology. So, do not buy if you own newer TV! I am afraid you will have to pay for far more expensive glasses which will last you only 3 years since battery can't be replaced. I am fuming with Sonysince had I known this (and it wasn't in product spec), I would have purchased different TV. This way, for family of 4 I will have to spend £200 every 3 years for new glasses. Great! I love my TV but not happy at all.

More comfortable and better performance than the pair that Sony provided with my TV
Make sure you check compatibility. The list in the description is far from complete. That said, I find these about twice as comfortable as the original glasses Sony included, and they are only a little bit heavier. I had to buy these because the original glasses cracked a shutter - they had an open design with very little protection. These provide much better protection for the shutters, which is good. Finding replacements is NOT easy. The most important part is how they perform though. They block out peripheral light quite well while also letting more light in through the shutters than the original pair. Battery life also seems to be very good. The old pair could get through 2 movies on charge... usually part way into a third. The new pair has lasted 3 movies and hasn't stopped yet. Overall, as long as you confirm that these are compatible with your TV, I recommend them.
