Solid looks and good sound
Having gone through four sets of earbuds that lasted a couple of months at most, I was eagerly looking for something more durable but not too expensive either (thanks, Apple). I've only used these for a few days, so these are early impressions. Watch out for an update later.Looks: The metallic shafts and control buttons on the white model are a nice touch. The give a feeling of soliditySound: Boom! I have been impressed with the loudness and clarity. I've had to turn my volume down on the phoneFit: Not the best fit in my ear, and I don't think I'd go jogging with them. Nice excuse.Build: The main cause of failure of many previous earbuds was due to snagging of the cords. These buds have plastic lugs where the cords enter the earpiece, and have a solid plastic lug where it enters the metal at the jack end. I hope this does the trick.Overall, I'm happy with them so far.Edit 18 May 2018: The white pair is still going strong, but the black pair seems to have a break near the pin. Can't hear or be heard. Oh well, into the trash it goes with the others...Taking off one star.
