Rugged, without the bulk
Really liking the UAG line of products for my electronics lately. I've got a few other phone protectors for other phones and a smart watch, and I've enjoyed all of them. Super protective, and aggressive, seemingly military inspired designs, they look and perform great. This case is slightly streamlined to remove some of the excess bulk while retaining most of the protection. It's also all black, so a bit more reserved in looks department. Fit is good and buttons are nicely tactile. Nice

An Excellent Pixel Pro 9 Case
I have had a number of UAG cases over the years and they have always done a masterful job of protecting my phone. Of all the UAG cases I've owned, this one "The Scout" is my favorite. It does an excellent job of balancing protection with function. I have zero issues with wireless charging or anything related to the phone. The case feels really good in the hand, I like what they did on the back where there are two slants that made the back of the phone less flat and much better at just fitting into your hand. I have a Pixel 9 Pro and this case hits it out of the park for that phone.

Very good, rugged case
This case is probably the most rugged out of the three cases I recently picked up for my Pixel. I tend to veer away from the ultra rugged cases like Otterboxes due to pocket heft. I tend to also be pretty careful with my phones. This UAG case is right at the edge of what I would consider in terms of thickness, but it definitely checks the safety and rugged boxes. The TPU is lightweight but still dense and thick. With the honeycomb patterns on the inside of the back, I suspect the back of this case will be more shock absorbent than other TPU cases, while allowing it to be light even at the thickness. It appears to be a very protective case all around. For me, beyond the weight compared to the other two cases, the one drawback is that the look is very bland. The case is attractive and well made, but the black plastic just detracts from the industrial beauty of the Pixel. In the end however, if you are looking for lightweight, rugged, and protective and not too worried about retaining the sleek look of your Pixel, this is a good case to consider.

Decent Google Pixel 9 case, fairly thin/slim, typical TPU, seems well made, good grip, longevity TBD
This is a fairly decent Google Pixel 9/9 Pro (6.3") phone case that's well made and works as expected without issues (for now). It's more or less a perfect fit (as they all should at this point in time) and the installation is nothing more than, well, put the case on and be done with it.It's fairly thin and slim (much more so than most others with similar design and style) along with decent grip and I do like the overall [look and] feel, its simple design, and the surface texture etc and it feels comfortable in my hand without being overly smooth or tacky. The buttons are reasonably easy to press against although they can certainly be better (but I digress).Btw, I have no idea what military grade drop protection is and it doesn't really exist as far as I'm concerned. As we often say in information security; many things are classified in the military and if something is military-grade, you will never hear of it let along be able to replicate it and be allowed to sell it to the public. Any time I hear the words or phrases such as military-grade, I know it's purely marketing without substance and that's something I'd recommend to keep it close to your heart as well. Last but not least, MIL-STD 810G does exist but you'd know that it doesn't really mean a whole lot (i.e. self-proclaimed) if you read the details assuming the tests actually took place as claimed.ā” ValueAll things considered, this is fairly decent phone case for Google Pixel 9/9 Pro (6.3") with decent (albeit somewhat typical) build quality overall. It's a bit pricey at $40 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, usability, and performance. However, its longevity remains to be seen, as always. Your mileage might vary.
