I'm using it to build the frame of an O scale house and it is very sturdy. I suppose it depends on what you want to use it for as to whether it is strong or not. I would say it is as strong or stronger than the same size piece in balsa or basswood.

Yes it can bend some. I haven't tried a bender. Just by hand. Don't know if it will bend a 90 without heat or collapsing. It might snap if bent a enough. can cut with exato nife.
