CasioMen's Vintage F105W-1A Illuminator Water Resistant Sport Watch

Love this watch. Have been wearing this model since the 1980s. Sturdy, functional, reliable, accurate & lasts for years & years. Easy to use and set up the date, time, stop watch, timer and alarm. All functions work as they should. Choice of on the hour reminder chime, 12 or 24 hour display and the alarm beeps gradually accend in volume, gently waking the wearer without disturbing those nearby who want to keep sleeping.The back light dims out after several years. The watches themselves have never cracked or broken. Rough on watches. One was replaced when lens became cloudy, covered in an accumulation over time of tiny scratches from repeated contact with rough surface . Another replacedment was bc one of the holes where the bar for the watch strap sits became enlarged & would not hold bar any longer after the strap got hung up & thankfully pop the bar out, saving my wrist. The strap has hung up before, breaking the strap instead of popping out the bar. I'm not 100%sure but I think it was a newer replacement watch band that pulled the bar outBattery & strap sre simple to replace.Oh and this watch can handle being caked with mud, paint, dust, sand, etc..., covered in shampoos, lotions, etc.., and even sprayed with cleaning liquids (bleach, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and moreNever take it off, except to clean it or . It's waterproof in the pool, tub, shower, lake & ocean snorkeling & even held up on a 30 min. shallow scuba dive average depth 20ft.Ladies, if you like simple, practical, watches, but find ladies' digital watches too small and men's either too big and thick check this watch out. I don't even notice I'm wearing it. It doesn't catch on clothing or anything except for when overcome by an occasionsl knucklehead moment and move too fast before looking. Correction. When it's really cold and multiple long sleeve layers are wrapped in sleeves with elastic wrist cuffs,adjust xthe watch location for comfort.and move move way too fast farms, in the barns, corals, pastures and pensBest simple digital watch, ever.

This is the "Classic" Casio to get... not the F91W. It's essentially the same as the F91, but with a MUCH better illumination function. The light on the F91 is useless, and this watch is only a couple bucks more. The size is "small" for a man, only by today's ridiculous standards. This is a perfect, unobtrusive size in my opinion. It's light, comfortable and tells the time and date... I don't know why anyone would want to wear a big, bulky clock on their wrist, other than to have people around them take notice of how stupid it looks, or maybe they're compensating? Might need a longer strap for those with thicker wrists. This is a perfect watch.

This is the watch I sleep with at night because of it's outstanding Electro-Luminescence backlight. It's also so light and comfortable that you forget you are wearing it! This watch is made of resin, including for the display, so expect it to be easily scratched. Accuracy is +/- 30 seconds per month according to Casio, but mine has been much more accurate than this. Features include telling you the time (hah), setting a single alarm, hourly beep/chime, and includes a stopwatch. I'm a fan of the blue bezel, makes it look retro 80s.You can also purchase after-market mods for this watch, which I did. I bought a skxmod case and bracelet, which even elevates this watch to a higher level.Highly recommend this watch, it's a steal for the price!

Handles sweat, showers, and rain with ease. I haven't gone scuba diving with it so I can't tell you the exact failure depth, but I think if you keep it reasonable and stay in the swimming pool you should be just fine.The construction is pretty damn good, especially considering the price. I have another Casio of the same type but with the silver body and metal band, it has held up to countless impacts and scratches. This version should hold up even better, given the tough rubber band is the only real functional difference. The body, glass, buttons, and back face are all exactly the same. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!The illumination is even and sufficient, not so much it'll blow your night vision out but bright enough you will easily read the display. The stopwatch function works great too, I use it for timing my running exercises every week.I really can't recommend this watch enough. It is no frills and no BS, just a simple watch that will probably last longer than you will.

The watch is great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it looks so small on my 7.5” wrist. I feel like I’m wearing a kids’ or ladies’ watch when I have it on. On most watches that I wear, I use the middle hole on the band (6th hole out of 11). On this watch, I have to use the 9th hole (out of 12) on the band.

Pros: This watch is highly legible and the backlight works perfectly. The watch is so light I forget that I'm wearing it. It's also very thin, so it slips easily under sleeve cuffs, making it work particularly well with winter wear. At its price point, I'm also unconcerned about treating it roughly.Cons: One of the buttons has gotten a bit sticky, and no amount of adjustment/lubrication has seemed to improve it. The watch and the button still work, but it's a bit of annoyance that I wish I didn't have to deal with.

The plastic screen is prone to scratching but the overall durability is good. It's lasted me over 2 years of ware and tear.

This is pretty much an exact copy of legendary F91W model, but with much better backlight. It is presumably slightly thicker but I can't see the difference (I have both). If you like simple design of F91W but want a better backlight this is the one to get.
