Excellent quality mini
I had a great time painting this mini. As a novice, it was nice to have bigger details, bigger surface area as well as a face that was accessible and surfaces for several more advanced techniques like the beard and fur loincloth for dry brushing. As usual the figure is great quality and highly detailed all the way down to an earring on the ogre. I didn’t have to wash mine with soap and water or prime. Just started painting.

Love this guy!
Very fun to paint. The issue with it falling down isn't a big deal if you plan on putting a base on it.

Clumsy figure
This figure is freaking cool, a lot of details and looks amazing, paints really easy too. One thing that was slightly frustrating is that he is so large he topples over without a base. Easily enough fixed with some super glue and creativity but it would have been nice to have a base sent with the figure.

I love the reaper bones figures
I love the reaper bones figures. They paint up very nice. I finished this one in about two hours of dedicated painting. They don't need to be primed just boil it to straiten out any parts that didn't come in the right position then run under cold tap water. Then you are on your way to great looking minis that can hold up to all sorts of abuse. After I finish painting them I seal them and my seven year old play fights with them and the paint holds up great.

Great mini, not so great base...
This is a good looking mini. But if you look at the base, it doesn’t support the weight of the mini well. Even a little bend forward from the mini, which feels like a certainty, causes it to fall over. I’ve warmed the mini to try to bend it back in shape but it never really worked. The ankle ended up cracking... a shame. Will try to salvage it but it’s bumming me out.

Ogre Chieftain Challenge Accepted!!!
This was quite the challenge given all the surface area and the technique required, but as a green amateur, it was so much fun to give it a try! You also get to play with metallic paints (which I am always a fan of). Anywho, this was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed painting my first Ogre!

Falls down a bit
I like the detail and size, but he ain't gonna stand very well until he's based, so beware. It's not exactly table ready out the box unless you're very careful not to bump it.

Great mini for the price.
Some of the Reaper models I have received recently have been a little hit or miss, but this one is great. A nice level of detail and quality, and a good size, I think it will be a joy to paint. If I had one criticism, it is that the model is a little top/forward heavy and unbalanced and has a tendency to topple over forwards quite often, however this is a minor nitpick as I do plan to glue the model to base which will fix the issue.
