Very fast reading, very good quality, easy to use. And actually it is the best one officially. If you need a thermo, this is the one. Dont think about it.

The details in the design and the quick, accurate performance of the thermometer make temperature measurements a breeze. To turn it on, you just pull out the probe. One end is magnetized so I can stick it to my BBQ between measurements. Easy to read, etc., etc.

This thermometer is the bomb. It's almost instant. I use it every time I cook meat and it's accurate and easy to use. It's easy to read, about as easy to clean as any other thermometer and I haven't had to change the batteries since I've purchased it almost a year ago. It has a sleep function so it turns on automatically when you pull out the probe, shuts off if you leave it open long enough, and turns off when you put away the probe. I keep this guy stuck to the side of my fridge with the magnet. It's held up very well, and has been a worthwhile investment. Would highly recommend if you cook meats a lot, or if you are scared of getting salmonella from chicken so you cook it until it isn't edible anymore.

I do get the accurate readings of the temp within usually a second or so. It is bright enough to read in the day or night time. It has a decent magnet (it SHOULD be stronger at this price point) but it does work fine. It can be used right/left-handed, it is accommodating. The battery should last you for years to come. The overall waterproofing is amazing. I am confident that this is one of the best, if not, THE BEST Meat Thermometer you should get if you love cooking a good juicy steak at the comfort of your own home. (I love Medium rare/ Medium Steak) You should give both the meat thermometer and Medium temp a good try.

It is accurate and the magnet holds it to your smoker very well. It works just as good as the Thermapen. I have two of those. I won’t buy them again. To expensive and this pen is just as accurate.
