Great Product and Company
I had the system delivered and it would not work properly. It turns out the HDMI port was faulty. After emailing the company I heard back the same day. They promised to ship a new system out 3 day express. As promised it was delivered and worked perfectly. The system is great and plays the Nintendo cartridges perfectly just as the old NES system would. I am very happy with the game system and its performance. I am surprised at how much I missed playing Nintendo!! LOL

Does not work
Plugged it in, powered on but would not register video. I picked it up and when I turned it upside down it started showing video. When I sat it back down upright, it stopped displaying video. After doing this a few times I got it to work. Played for a few minutes and then turned it off. Powered it back on and it will not display any video no matter what I do. Previous reviews said the same thing, these machines are garbage, do not buy one! I just ordered a used SNES off of Ebay to work with my SD2SNES rom carriage. Spend the extra $50 on a real used SNES and you will not regret it! Buy this product and you will regret it (or just return it)!

Great for playing your classics
I recently found a copy of Mega Man 2 that wasn't ridiculously over-priced, but because my original NES is 2700 miles away at my sister's house, and may not even work anymore, I got this after a great deal of searching online. This thing is great. Seriously, get one if you have any NES/SNES games around to play. What I like: The unit comes with a power cable (General micro USB, so its easily replaceable), HDMI and composite video cables so you can play on a modern TV or an old style tribe TV if you have one laying around or are an ultimate nostalgia freak. It also comes with two SNES style controller with super long cords (like 10 or 12 feet long, but they use the actual SNES connector, so you can use your own) so you can start playing by yourself or with friends right away. It also has two NES controller ports on the side. It also has an NTSC/PAL switch on the bottom so you can play imported games as well (European or Japanese, I guess) though you may need an adapter to make them fit. I was able to find these easily, but didn't buy one since I only own American games. There is also a 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio switch as well, so if you want to play widescreen over HDMI, you have the choice. It can't be switched on the fly while you're playing, but the option is there before start up. What I don't (really) like (but can live with): The sound is off. Every review I read says this about every one of these retro consoles from every manufacturer. Everything is slightly higher pitched and tinny compared to what I remember, but it's not terrible. These will probably never be able to match the sound of the original hardware, but its close enough that the convenience of this console beats out slightly wrong sounds. Other Things: For NES games, the B button becomes A and the Y button becomes B. Some people might not like this, but it feels great when playing NES games because of the angle the buttons sit at compared to how they were just straight on the original NES controller. I played through Mega Man 2 with this and had no problems, other than sweaty palms after the game got really intense in the final stages. Overall, this is a great piece of hardware that can keep your classic games going in the modern age.

It did its only job for me perfectly
I got this console to play Lufia 2 on its original cartridge (that I bought new in 1995 and had recently found in an old box in my garage). After a gentle rub with a dry 3M pad on the cartridge, the console and game performed perfectly. This alone made it utterly worth the purchase as it also allowed for a perfect SNES 16-bit graphic display on the latest of TVs...

Works well on picture and sound, But HDMI on mine stopped working. used 3year
Bought this system in 2019, Runs all the games really well with near perfect sound. orignal FX chip games run like mario kart, yoshi's island japan import, 800 in 1 pro everdrive clone, 150 in 1 multi carts all run great...After 2 years my hdmi stopped working... Idk if some had build issues or faulty HDMi ports but its a miner set back.. The RCA ports and included cables still provide good signal and accurate colors...The controllers have a nice snes look and are comfy to hold with a lengthy amount of cable . . Hope the product gets a update and is support in the future... I'd try another one if the price was better and the HDMI wasn't a roll of the dice - RCA will have to do. snes/nes 9/9

Very close to the real thing
I bought this for my 5-year-old son as an introduction to videogames. I still have my original NES and SNES, but since he is so young this was a safer option. Its only been about a week but so far I'm really happy with it. I've tried about 20 different original carts that all worked fine, but I'm mostly using some cheap multicarts I picked up with hundreds of games each. I haven't had any issues with them yet. Since its HDMI the graphics are really nice and sharp. As some have mentioned the cartridge slots are a little tight. Since I won't be changing the games often this isn't an issue for me, but you might want to be careful if you have any valuable games. The controllers are decent. The shape and feel is very similar to the original SNES pads, but they are a bit lighter and the feel of the d-pad and buttons are a little different. Its really cool that there are NES controller ports on the side so we can use those for Nintendo games. So far I'm a fan of the Gamerztek systems-- I've also got their 8-bit HD and MiniGen and recommend them as well.
