Easy to use heated brush is great for straightening or smoothing curly/wavy hair.
I ordered this sdlogal Hair Straightener Brush, Hair Straightener Comb Straightening Brush for Women, with 5 Temps because I wanted to try a heated straightening brush.I’ve used a flatiron for years on my long, curly hair, but I don’t do it every day. It takes a fair amount of work, and it’s not worth doing if it’s rainy, snowy, or humid—my hair has a mind of its own, and the curls will come springing back if they get even slightly damp. One of my friends who also has curly hair has raved about her straightening brush, so I was pleased to see this set included a heated brush for straightening.Using this is pretty easy, a few strokes through my hair, and it is straight and smooth instead of bouncy and chaotic. My hair looks large when it’s curly and free, but it’s really pretty thin. I like that this has five different heat settings, including two for thin hair. Even though my hair has a lot of curl, I’m able to brush it straight on the two lower settings. The heated brush comes in a kit with several useful products. It has a faux velvet drawstring carryin case, great for traveling. The brush plugs into a wall socket for power; the cord is included. This gets hot quickly, so the included heat protecting glove is a great add-on. The glove has what feel like silicone buttons on the palm to help protect your hand. The kit also includes plastic clips to hold up part of your hair while you straighten another part, or for other styling. The hot brush also comes with a user guide that is easy to read and understand, it has drawings and other helpful information. Everything is neatly packaged in an attractive box.I love being able to straighten my hair so easily, this is quicker and easier to use than my trusty flat iron. I still don’t think I’ll use it every day (my husband actually loves my crazy chaos hair), but I like being able to control the curls or smooth the frizz, depending on how straight I want to go that day. There’s really not much of a learning curve—you already know how to brush your hair. Do it with this heated brush, and watch your curly/wavy hair go smooth and straight. If it doesn’t work completely in one pass, brush it again until it looks the way you want. Really, it’s that easy.Oh, and this doesn’t take up a lot of room. I live in NYC, space is at a major premium. This is small enough to go in a bathroom cabinet, love that easy storage!

Takes a bit of practice but worth it
I haven't tried a hair brush straightener made like this one. It has bristles on each side to help grab the hair but I found it helps a lot to hold the ends of your hair with your hand so it can get more pressure to straighten your hair. Not sure if that makes sense but if you've got one of these then you'll probably understand what I mean. The only problem I have with this is that I keep hitting the button that changes the temperature and have to reset it to the right temperature. If it were in a different spot such as towards the bottom of the handle that would probably be better. Overall I think it's worth giving it a try and because it has nice packaging it would also make a good gift.

Very hot setting, square handle
I actually use a straighter brush hair iron from time to time, so to me it is very easy to compare it to this SDLOGAL Hair Straightener Brush.First, SDLOGAL Hair Straightener Brush heats up very quickly , which is good. But the temp setting is very high. I like to use it at 275 degrees, but the lowest temp you can get is 284 degrees. I am afraid that it damage my hair in the long run.Second, the handle is not round, but square, so if you want to make curl, you cannot maneuver the handle nicely.A comb is attached both sides, but they are plastic, so I wonder how long they will last. This straightener does its work and straightens your hair without a brush, which is nice, but you have to be careful not to damage your hair by using it frequently due to the high temp.

Perfect for Quick, Smooth Straightening!
I’m super impressed with the SDLOGAL Hair Straightener Brush! It heats up fast—just 30 seconds—and the five temperature settings make it easy to find the right heat level for my hair. My hair is naturally frizzy and wavy, so I was skeptical, but this brush made straightening it surprisingly easy and quick. Just a few passes and my hair looked smooth and sleek, almost like I’d had it professionally done! The anti-scald design is great too; I didn’t feel any need for a heat glove, even though the brush got hot enough to do the job in a single pass. The built-in ionic tech really does seem to make a difference in keeping my hair frizz-free, which was a pleasant surprise since other tools haven’t given me the same results. The brush is compact and fits perfectly in my cabinet, so it’s not taking up too much space. I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to simplify their straightening routine!

Nice color, size and features.
I notice packaging! This brush comes in a nice that is also sealed in cellophane (shrink-wrapped?)The brush came in a velvet bag with the cord wrapped and beneath a logo'd section that also covers (well hides) the included glove and 2 hair clips. It's a little heavy, but I appreciate the long handle and the temperature indicators. There is a light next to each of the 5 temperature settings as well as one that indicates that the unit is powered on.I'm not sold on the brushlike edges. My hair was salon-straightened and generally, once it's straight, it stays that way. I messed up the next day; while in a hurry to get ready, I removed my shower cap before the steam dissipated and my roots re-curled into an unruly puff! It felt like the brush edges on this straightener were too rough on my hair, though I combed through my curls first.I switched back to my flat iron, since I was only touching up the roots. I've had this too long to return, so I'll try letting my stylist use it or give me a lesson!
