Battery Disconnect Switch, Malictele On/Off Side Post Battery Switch 275A 12-48V Power Cut Master Disconnect Isolator for Car Vehicle RV and Boat

Just what I was looking for. Used this on my old truck which has a slow battery drain. Had a knife switch on it but the switch just wore out and I wanted something a bit more robust. Connected right up to the post and easily attached to the original side mount negative cable. It appears to be good quality and looks like it will hold up much better than that knife switch. Good value. Switch has a positive feel and solid click.

If you own and RV. These are truly a must have. They have saved my bacon on so many trips. When parked for any long period of time you can shut the batteries off.

Plastic knob breaks loose from switch when turned on. Not worth returning. Plastic tabs in knob break off very easily. Hope you don’t have to take this switch off of your battery in the rain in the parking lot.

Very cheaply made. It broke before I even got it installed, but I was able to fix it temporarily until I buy something better. The bolts supplied are metric but the 12 volt automotive battery terminals are SAE so you'll have to make some modifications. Suggest you buy something better. Will see if I can get my money back without returning it as the hassle to drive to the UPS store w25 miles away is not worth the trouble.
