Well built
I am not new to under sink water filtration. I have been using them for years. This is my first tankless RO system. I replaced a frizzlife 3 filter water purification system with this Stokk RS1 400 gpd because I needed RO water for my humidifier. I have a matching drinking water faucet and sink faucet so I did not need the included RO faucet. The installation was a breeze as the only thing I needed to do was add a drain saddle connection. The creative water tube connections to this box was a cinch to use. Because of the RO membrane, water output will be slower than your average charcoal filter system, keep that in mind. Most will opt for the faster 600 gpd unit but if you dont want to replace your expensive membrane any more than a once a year, you should stick to the 400 gpd.I dont think the plastic cover on the front control panel is necessary at all. Its already hiding in a cabinet. Stokk does provide everything you need except a drill, 1/4" bit and phillips screw driver. You might also need a pair of kitchen shears to trim the tubing. The included thank you letter is a nice touch, talking about the company's start. Stokk cares about the environment and all the waste caused by water bottles. But looking at the filter cartridges they use, they are encased in some heavy duty plastic. Unlike others that I have used in the past, these do not seem to open allowing you to just remove the old filter and or RO membrane. (Confirmed by watching Stokk's filter replacement youtube video.). Which means excess waste in the landfill that will take decades to breakdown. I would like to see development in this area. Sure its super convenient but not green in the least and kinda makes me wonder if I bought the system. This company has US based support and is from Hong Kong. . Jin Fang Technology has 3 trademarks for Stokk that were filed in 2023. So despite being new to the scene their product is seriously well designed.Stokk S1 series filtration meets the following specifications and is certified by SGS, a global certifiacation company. Certs can be found on the Stokk support website.NSF/ANSI 42Filters are certified to reduce aesthetic impurities such as chlorine and taste/odor. These can be point-of-use (under the sink, water pitcher, etc.) or point-of-entry (whole house) treatment systems.NSF/ANSI 58Reverse osmosis systems incorporate a process that uses reverse pressure to force water through a semi-permeable membrane. Most reverse osmosis systems incorporate one or more additional filters on either side of the membrane. These systems reduce contaminants that are regulated by Health Canada and EPA.For those of you who dont read the included manuals, you can extend your 1 yr warranty for a 2nd year by scanning the QR code found in the last page if the book.

Easy to setup
My tap water tastes terrible where I live. I had a RO system with storage tanks but my pressure is low and it didn't remove all the contaminants because of the low pressure. I came across this while looking at booster pumps and it was a little cheaper than the pumps so I decided to try it out. My water is better than bottled water now. It was easy to setup. I might give my old one to my inlaws or sell it.

Awesome!
Love this product! We love in a place where the water is "reclaimed" so I love that we can drink water from the"tap". Compact and fits very nicely under the sink. Saves us so much money now that we are not buying bottled water. Not to mention the fact that we are not putting more plastics out into the waste bin.

Provides High Quality Water
Our community water system is based on a well and it doesn't hve the best taste. We have used an RO system for years. Our previous system was a tank based system and it took up a large amount of space under the sink. Evaluation of this system:1. Installation is extremely simple.2. Saved us a lot of space.3. Flow rate is much lower than our previous system but not so much that it is a problem.4. Need to allow water to flow for a while to get the TDS values you should get with an RO system. I reached out to their support and they were very responsive. Basically what they said was that when the system was at rest it equilibrates such that the inflow and the outflow are at the same TDS level. If you let it flow for a full minute it flushes itself and you get good numbers. Support is via email but quite responsive.

Leaky hardware
Infuriatingly poor design. Three evenings wasted trying to fix cheap hardware leaks with plumbers tape and trips to the hardware store to find better gaskets. Zero water flow from the first of the two. Not even a drop. I didn't even unbox the second one. Refund refund refund.

Good product
Loving this RO system—installation was pretty smooth, and the water tastes so much better now. It’s great knowing the filters are doing their job, and the tank fills up quickly. Maintenance seems easy too. Overall, it’s been a solid upgrade for our home and totally worth the investment.

Very Happy
Just got it installed and seems to work great. We originally made an error in setting it up. Called customer service. They were immediately responsive. This is the first time having a tankless reverse osmosis. Appreciate the extra room under the sink and limitless RO water. Although it does expell water down the drain I believe the quantity will be far less than the tanked RO system we replaced.

Not the easiest to install
Ive installed several RO systems over the years and this one was the most difficult one by far. I have to assume who ever designed this has never installed one beneath a sink and counter top before. You need very small hands and it would help if you had a basin wrench to install the faucet unless you plan on removing the whole sink to get to the faucet connections and mounting hardware. Ive yet to work inside a sink cabinet that had plenty of room to get under and work so be prepared to get yourself twisted up. Make sure you have a good working flashlight. The top washer that goes under the faucet on top of the counter top is very flimsy. You might want to get something a little more substantial. If you tighten the nut down to prevent the faucet from spinning you wind up bending the washerAlso be aware that this RO system requires 120 volt outlet. If you don't have an electrical connection beneath the sink plan on having one installed.I already had a separate water line beneath my sink for my older RO system but I could not use it and had to use their connecting valve. Not a big deal but a little more work than I anticipated. All together it took my approx. 2 hrs to install including the electrical outlet
