I'm very happy with this laptop. There's a few problems I've run across, like Windows not updating. I've had to find workarounds in order to make it work. I honestly can't say that has anything to do with the laptop itself and more to do with Windows. I've noticed there's a lot more shortcut keys on this than I've ever had before. Once I learn what they all are, it's really going to be a major game changer. Over all, this is an excellent computer. Huge hard drive, tons of memory, touch screen is awesome... The only thing that I'm not happy with is the fingerprint 🫆 reader. Most of the time it won't unlock with my fingerprints. I've added multiple fingers, tried everything, and it just doesn't work well for me.

This HP 17.3" Laptop performs admirably well. I received it (Amazon mistakenly sent me two of them and charged me for "re-stocking" fee when it was their mistake) Nonetheless, the Laptop with 64 Gb Memory and a 1.8 Terabyte SSD hard drive with a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint sensor works so very well. I am so utterly impressed with it's speed and accuracy.. The soft touch keys makes typing a breeze. The back lit keys light up from dark to lighted immediately when once commences to type. I have experience with a variety of laptops to include HP, Asus, Acer and even a Korean brand. I return to HP because of it's quality construction, novel technological additions and advanced features. I learned to use a quality cooling pad (RGB Gaming Cooler) to avoid the risk of overheating. This RGB gaming cooler allows you to use up to 15 cooling fans which are installed. This is important with this i-7 intel Core. The Screen uses iRISx graphics. I think they need to work on better contrast control for the screen images. They are a little too light. The print is, in some instances, simply too light and the text needs to be definitely darker. That is a legitimate claim. Pictures are thus affected, as well. HP needs to work on the contrast. The touch screen is definitely a useful tool and functions quite well. All in all, I do recommend this laptop far above all other brands. I have tried so many different brands for prolonged periods and I always come back to HP but with the forewarning that these more powerful i-7 cores produce greater heat especially with prolonged laptop sessions. They do require the cooling pads, Find one that satisfies your needs. I think you will love the HP i-7 models. Jesse Jr

I put off getting a new laptop for 10 years. It was so much more affordable to just upgrade the one I've had since windows 7...that is until Windows 11. My previous laptop was a 17" HP and i wanted to make sure I had the same quality. I did a lot of research, "shopping around" comparing components, warranties, performance and review. I am so pleased with my new laptop. It may not have all the ports my old faithful has, but that was easily remedied by purchasing a small usb dock with extra ports. The shipping was fast, the shipping container was very secure and came in great condition. I've had the laptop for over 6 months now and have to admit, it was a great investment - less expensive than a new cell phone and bigger for my old eyes to see.

Fast and quality.

Wrong color the keys don’t light up and no CD drive but the computer works fine. Just all my must haves was ignored and they sent what they wanted.

Everything started up as you would expect. Really nice machine. It's not a gaming PC but it's fast enough for office duty. One little problem. I worked diligently for 6 hours to get the sound to work. The machine reported that it had no audio device attached. I build Desktops for fun. I know my way around a PC. I almost sent it back. Probably just a glitch but the product page on amazon did warn that this PC is sent back often. This is next day and it seems to be working OK. I had to search for long time for the right drivers. It doesn't say it's a software issue it stated no audio device indicating HW prob. OK for now... HP assistant diagnostic helped...

Great product. Great CPU. Definitely very comparable to the other brands such as AMD. Note this laptop has been upgraded with RAM, and additional hard drive space. Very good laptop for the dollars..
