The lock firstly comes in it's own bag making it easy to throw in a front locker during towing or storing in a garage out of season with no worries of rust or damage. These things aren't supposed to be light and yes it feels weighty but personally that was what I was after from this product

I've bought this for my caravan, and it looks sturdy and easy to fit. Nice orange colour too with no plastic to fade in the sun. You can use it when stopping at service stations (but don't tow with it attached as that's dangerous). Fast delivery too, well packed.

Although it is a great visual deterrent and will stop most opportunists driving off with your much loved caravan, I lost the key for mine and was able to cut it off with a cordless angle grinder in about 3 minutes. It has a great lock but In my opinion the box steel is too thin.

Lock arrived promptly, well packed, well presented, handy storage bag, straightforward to fit. Looks sturdy ... hope it it is sufficient of a visual deterrent and doesn't get put to the test!
