Size matters!
A few caveats: this tripod is massive, far bigger than my older Manfrotto one, and is actually quite heavy despite being made of carbon fibre; but maybe that’s a good thing if you have a heavy payload and require sturdiness and steadiness. Definitely challenging for travelling but it’s manageable if you have a car; I don’t think you could hike with this though, even if you were Hercules himself! The plate is versatile with its many screws, but I wish it came with a small Alan key/screwdriver to help screw the plate onto your camera. The instructions could be better but they’re still decent; definitely better than the instructions with my older Manfrotto tripod. Setting up the legs is swift and easy. I’m happy with my purchase for sure, but make sure the size is suitable for you. Can’t wait to take it out on the field!

Great product, especially for the price point
Great product. Quick and easy to set-up and pack away. Solid build. Sturdy enough to handle my electronic slider without any noticeable lean. Raises nice and high. Pan and tilt is smooth, with good resistance control. Provided carry case seems nicely made. I expected the tripod to feel a bit lighter given that it is carbon fibre, but apart from that, it close to perfect.

Typical excellent Neewer quality
This is a beat of a tripod.Big, solid and very smooth pan/tilt head.If you need a video tripod, this will do the trick for you.It raises to a good height (far more than I need with my short legs!) and it's nicely stable. I don't think it's quite as solid as some of the really big name brands, but then it's not the same price as those. The only thing I would have against it - but it's what makes it stable - is that, man, this thing is heavy :)When it arrived I was shocked as I picked up the box. It has serious weight. That's a good thing in a video tripod and if you have a bigger video camera you shouldn't have any problems supporting it on this thing.Definitely worth 5 stars as far as I'm concerned.

finally a sturdy tripod that can hold my Nikon P1000 without shakes
It's super sturdy, packed with features, and makes capturing those perfect shots easy. The build quality is outstanding-the carbon fiber construction makes it very sturdy and durable while remaining lightweight and portable. At 78 inches fully extended, this tripod can handle a wide range of shooting scenarios. Setting up and adjusting the tripod is easy. The quick-release plate lets me swap cameras on the fly, and the rapid height adjustment makes it easy to find the perfect shooting position. It's versatile and adaptable, making it a valuable tool in my videography arsenal.

Good payload and a smooth fluid head
This is really easy to adjust being a single twist piece to adjust all three legs at the same time, paired with the bowl head it means getting set up and level is an absolute breeze, if a speedy setup video tripod is what you're looking for you will be hard pushed to find quicker, the legs are good quality and the fluid head is smooth with good payload too it will handle my mirrorless setup with ease even with the big 200-600mm lens on there, overall, a very good tripod.

good build quality, head adjustable and smooth, easy to deploy legs. Spreader not adjustable.
PROS-very robustly built-excellent compromise between lightweight build and stability, this is great for both field work, and studio work-legs are very easy to deploy, and are solid-head very smooth and damped, and I like the adjustable resistance (very easy to adjust)-I like the dual sized nature of the quick release clamp: I can easily use the plate from my DJI gimbal on this head, making it much faster to move from one video shooting method to another. I don’t use Manfrotto plates too often, but I do have some of them lying around.-levelling ball works well: very easy to adjust, movement feels smooth, and it locks down solidly.-I like the telescoping handle, makes it easier to store and use (and it can, as is standard, be attached for both left and right-handed users)-rubber shielding the spikes and providing the standard feet is very thick, it should last a long time-good bag included-at £339.99 (and an £80-off voucher), I think that this offers very good valueCONS-since the rubber feet that cover the spikes come right off, it’d be good to have some sort of retention mechanism, as they can be easily misplaced-rosette that holds the arm is integral to the rest of the head. If it wears (and it will wear), it can’t be replaced-leg angle is fixed, as spreader is not adjustable or removable.NOTES-if you need more height, or your camera is quite large and heavy, then there are other tripods out there for you (me, I tend to use mirrorless cameras for video work, so this tripod is perfect for my needs).MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
